“A breathtaking island with an unforgettable reef and beautiful people, but with service inconsistencies that should not”

We visited this island for the second time because of its incredible house reef, rich with turtles, sharks, stingrays and moray eels. The island is truly special for ocean lovers. The restaurant was outstanding. The chefs creatively transformed simple ingredients and even reused dishes in innovative ways for the next meal. We are grateful to the waiters and some housekeeping staff for their kindness and care. A special thank you to the Maldivian snorkeling guide with curly hair who showed us fish, octopuses, explained the currents, helped us swim and even filmed videos for us. He is truly in love with the ocean and protects the reef with passion. We also thank the managers for the champagne and fruits for our first wedding anniversary. We had our wedding ceremony on this island in 2025. The tailor on the island organized beautiful white decorations for our ceremony, and the chef prepared the best meringue cake we have ever tasted. Special thanks to Mirsaid from reception for his care during our stay and for helping organize our wedding ceremony and memories. The transfer organization was excellent and very smooth with Trans Maldivian Airways. Wi-Fi issues were eventually solved with routers provided by the hotel. We will carry love for this island and its people throughout our lives.

“A fabulous place to fully switch off! The best house reef we’ve seen in the Maldives”

The house reef is phenomenal! Every day we managed to see sharks, turtles, rays, and a plethora of fish. The reef is super easy to access. The excursions offered were fabulous! Alice from the team created such an unforgettable experience for us: we saw manta rays, dolphins, and the most gorgeous coral garden all in one day. Front office staff are very helpful, especially Mersaid, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Finally, the spa was outstanding, we’ve received 3 treatments each and were incredibly content with the massages.

Amazing house reef, bungalows, friendly staff.

The perfect island for a totally relaxing holiday. Our room was a beach bungalow which was laid out perfectly, bright and clean. All meals were delicious with enough variety for our 9 night stay. We used a kayak, snorkelled and my husband dived most days. An amazing place for total relaxation.

Lovely small resort with wonderful staff. The food is good with a changing dinner menu each night. Great snorkeling around the island with plenty of cool fish, corals, sharks to see.

It was everything I hoped the Maldives would be but was afraid it wouldn’t be. Relaxed, friendly, good snorkelling.

This place is impossible to fault. A small quiet island, with beautiful reef, good food and excellent staff. We spent the days snorkelling, eating, resting... it was very hard to leave. The water activities were fantastic, all the staff organising them was helpful and informative. Even just the group snorkel around the island is wonderful. A holiday we won't forget.

“Great marine life and service, okay food/drinks”

-great marine life (coral is dead like in most places but there is plenty of sharks and other fish to explore). We went snorkeling on a daily basis and had many great experiences without having to even book any activities that would cost extra -staff very friendly and helpful. Service for drinks and food by our waiter Haris was always quick and we were extremely happy with his service throughout our stay. All staff members speak good English also, so commutation is easy. -seaplane times were facilitated according to our flight times so we could leave with a seaplane late and still have some more time and also got an extra lunch without having to pay extra. -pool area nice and clean and also very Instagram-friendly Overall, this hotel is very suitable for people looking for a great snorkeling/diving experience at a fair price and are not too bothered about getting food/drinks with 4 rather than 5 star quality

The island is in a very good location and from the beaches also very well maintained. The reef is well suited for snorkeling but in many places already dead. The staff in the restaurant is very attentive
