“The perfect place to understand the island life”
Angie is the most amazing host! The jungle house she build is awesome and we've had a wonderful stay. Angie is well connected and can help arrange tours and transport. She has some great suggestions on where to eat and things to do on and off the island. The community living on Bastimentos is lovely and the town feels like something out of an adventure novel. The house is situated right on the jungle trail to Wizard Beach, where you have a chance to spot birds and wildlife. Mere 50m from the house you have Mami's Restaurant, who is somewhat of a mother figure in town and is a great cook! There is also a small nature reserve an adventurous 20min walk from the house which is a must see on Bastimentos. Although it first looks like a garden, the reserve is a gateway to the jungle on the island. Within an hour or so we've seen sloth, capuchin monkeys, cayman and redfrogs. Also Mami's super sweet dog aptly named Princess might show up at the house and demand cuddles. She is somewhat of a local celebrity and you'd best abide.

“Perfect!”
It’s located in the most beautiful part of the island. The view from the balcony- indescribable!!! Peaceful, beautiful place that help you truly feel the island vibe! It’s close to the restaurants, host gave me the best advice with choosing one. Frances ( the host) is just amazing and the way she takes care of the place and the visitors, is more than perfect! Highly recommend choosing this place to stay!

“One with nature”
The jungle house is the perfect place to stay and be part of the island. It is a very unique stay. You feel one with nature. The best thing about it was our host, Angie. She was very sweet and helpful.
