Great location, friendliest staff. Bonus, awesome jungle walk out back in the property

We stayed in an over the water bungalow. It was very nice with a small seating area, an even smaller bedroom (with a lovely view from the bed) and a terrace with steps directly into the sea. Inside, there is a small glass panel in the floor to watch the fish and another with a raised glass cover, underneath which is a gap to feed the fish through (fish food is provided). It did feel very private and we had breakfast in bed which was lovely. The food in the restaurant was okay, nothing special. We enjoyed wandering through the nature reserve, directly behind the hotel, feeding the caiman (again, food provided) and trying to spot sloths.

We had a wonderful stay and would rate this accommodation a solid 9/10. Communication before arrival was excellent. The team shared all the necessary details on how to get there and provided helpful information about available excursions, which made planning very easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to help. They gave great advice, tips, and insights to make the most of every excursion. We joined the Zapatilla trip and the Isla Colón adventure—both were truly amazing experiences. A special mention goes to Captain Bobo, who made the island trip especially memorable. We were lucky enough to see dolphins every single day! On our last day, we visited Red Frog Beach, which is absolutely stunning. Lunch at Villa Rosa was another highlight—great food and a lovely setting with a swimming pool. One of the unique features of the accommodation is the private jungle trail right behind it. We loved walking this path several times a day. Along the way, we spotted red frogs, caimans, sloths, and much more—an unforgettable experience, especially for our kids. The accommodation also serves good meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast is particularly nice, and purified water is provided with meals or available upon request in your room. We also really appreciated the support from the reception desk in organizing our transport to David. They truly went the extra mile to help us, and in the end, we were able to arrange a 3.5-hour taxi ride with a trusted local driver. We traveled as a family with two boys aged 5 and 6, and overall, it was a fantastic and memorable stay.

The setting is very beautiful and from our terrasse we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset of our holiday

The staff was great. One can have a walk through the jungle in the back of the hotel and see animals.

Beautifully designed, exceptional customer service. Good food, especially liked the breakfast. There’s a small nature reserve in the back where you can see sloths, birds and caimans. I booked a massage with Natalia which was amazing.

This is a beautiful place where you can have fantastic walks in the jungle everyday, and also enjoy the sea, sun and good food! Happy hour every afternoon from 16-18, great cocktails!We loved the combination! Rustic but charming overwater bungalows, and the terrace was so nice and relaxing. Expect music late from Old Bank, the village on other side of the island, in the weekends. There is earplugs in the bungalow, use them. Eclipse de Mar is a chill and relaxed place with nice staff, we loved our 5 nights stay there!

We stayed in a very small room adjacent to the restaurant. Lovely views and very quiet. Pleasant staff. The private nature reserve was wonderful! We saw tiny tree frogs, beautiful birds and caiman and turtles in the lake. The restaurant menu was limited but adequate.

The location was excellent, the facilities were amazing, dinner was great quality and value. The nature reserve was a nice add on. This is almost a perfect retreat location. Even Dolphins off our front deck today.

The water taxi takes you right to the hotel. View was gorgeous. The sea loft was a really large space. I did like kayaks and SUPs were available for guests to use.

We stayed in an over water bungalow and it was amazing - very comfy beds, clean, lots of space, and very peaceful (it was stormy over night which we liked listening too, and made it quite atmospheric!). We had a private balcony with loungers and a ladder down in to the sea, breakfast brought to us in the morning by the incredibly attentive staff, who also helped us organise water taxis. Delicious dinner too, the hotel has lots of land to explore with cool wildlife, and free kayaks and paddle boards. Cannot recommend this hotel enough for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a beautiful location!

Breathtakingly beautiful! Both the lodge and the location. Swim in – swim out feature is truly heavenly. They even provided us with fish food to attract fish while snorkeling. Every detail was just perfect.

Beautiful location and great facilities. We used the paddle boards and snorkelling equipment provided and saw some lovely corals and fish including a small nurse shark not far from the hotel. Great boat trip with Alejandro from the hotel - we saw dolphins, starfish, frigate birds and beautiful fish while snorkelling in the corals off the boat. Alejandro was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience, including providing a fabulous fruit snack (like a piece of art!) on a beach on Zapatillo island. The nature walk on the grounds was a bonus. Easy boat taxi service to go for dinner in Old Town. Ery friendly staff.

It was amazing. The water villas are incredible, the hotel has plenty of facilities (the natural reserve, free kayaks and paddle boards, etc) and the breakfast is tasty. The staff is super nice, and you feel disconnected from the world.

Dinner was outstanding - the best meal we had n Panama. Breakfast was also very nice. The people were very friendly. The room was fun in that it is out over the water. Having access to a kayak made it even better for exploring.
