Gilbert is such a warm kind host and we really loved the creativity and artistic flair in his home. Very close to train and port and most helpful! The beds are so comfortable and the shower is well stocked with great water pressure. Thank you for the wonderful glass of wine with our dinner. Such great hospitality!

Very friendly owner, who speaks multiple languages and is happy giving informations about what to see and do in Bastia. Quiet, yet centeal location near the train station, harbour and old town.

Authentic and unique rooms. Very friendly owner. Good location to go to ferry or to airport shuttle bus. Very good bakery and ice cream shop nearby. There was possibility to leave luggages after check out.

My room was a small room next to the bathroom. It was good for one night and the bed was really nice which I did not expect when feeling the matress first time. Nice that there was a cheap little breakfast which you can make you're self.

There were alot of 'home comfort' extras

Very central and clean. Well organised and nice host. Only downside was that the room was at the 5th floor with no lift.

“Exactly what we needed ahead of Ferry trip”

The property was in a great location in Bastia, a minute from the port which was key for us. We arrived later in the afternoon, hearing that parking could be problematic due to central location. After about 15-20 mins of circling the roads we found a great spot. Having camped in 35 degrees for 5 days, having a top spec air con unit in our room made a huge difference, plus a fridge and really good wi fi. The room is part of a shared flat, we didn’t actually meet Gilbert but he was super helpful on WhatsApp and clearly a popular host given the notes dotted around the flat. It was just what we needed and we’d stay again for sure. (Also highly recommend Glacier Raugi around the corner from the place, incredible ice creams)
