“Island stay”

The location was good. Just 10 min away from the airport but the owner will pick you up / drop you off when your arrival and departure. Breakfast was included and the time was very flexible. (When you have a tour you can have BF at 5am, if not 9am, etc) Island life starts very early, chickens will wake you up in the morning. The rooftop was very refreshing. You can see the town, the mountain and the sunrise in the early morning, or see the stars at night. Beautiful.

The owners are really caring and helpful. They always respond, never forget things. If they say, they do. This is very important at Batanes, where some owners don't respond at all. Location is good, rooms are clean, breakfast is provided. They helped me to go to Sabtang and back. There are scooters for rent which helps to discover the island. Thank you mrs. Julia and mr. Bird!

The breakfast was good. It's the normal breakfast, the added points is they served the preference meal for my niece.

The best in Batanes! We were staying there for 5 days 4 nights. Owner is very friendly and help us a lot during our stays.

Excellent customer service. The place is very clean. The roof deck has an superb view of Mt. Iraya. Its location is just a walking distance from the capitol and close to the airport.

Lovely family run dormitel. Hosts are very kind. We enjoyed the home cooked food very much. They organised excellent tours for us with the best driver and guide (Mani, thank you for showing us around Batanes!). Thank you all for your kindness.

Baletin Hometel is located near the airport, plaza and lots of other establishments like mini marts or eatery. The rates are affordable considering that the rooms are clean, towels, hangers and shampoo are provided for. It also includes free breakfast already for the number of nights that we were staying. What stands out the most is the quality of the service and kind accommodation of the owners. They are very humble and most attentive to your needs. Baletin Hometel feels like home with how the owners and the rest of the guests greet each other good morning and make random chats. Sir Bert will personally pick you up from the airport upon your arrival and bring you to the airport for your departure. Both are kind enough to prepare and arrange the pasalubong that we brought back home. Dios Mamajes, Sir Bert and Ms Julia!

“Best hotel to stay in Basco”

My group and I 6 people mostly British, enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. We did not want to do any of the tours and just explore the beauty of the island and that was just fine.

Breakfast is good, they serve it at the time you need it especially if you have a scheduled tour. Location is very convenient and walkable from the town proper, just use Google maps to find your way at first. Hometel staff and owners are very hospitable, communication network was down at the time of my visit and there was no way of contacting a passenger tricycle so I was brought to my destination using the property's tourist tricy.
