Overview
SABAI Beach features 200 metres of private white sand beach and free WiFi access in public areas. It is located in Barú Peninsula (an island), 20 minutes’ drive from Barbacoas Bay. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning, a balcony and a patio. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy sea view from the room. Extras include a terrace and a minibar. At SABAI Beach you will find a 24-hour front desk, a garden and a terrace. “Highly Recommended for tranquillity and peace”
Newly renovated resort, located in a quiet spot on the island of Baru. Ideal for a short stay, there is total tranquillity and peace. The resort and beach are beautiful; the staff are friendly and the restaurant/bar offer excellent.

“Absolutely stunning, quiet, relaxing and delicious with kind wonderful staff!”
This is such a wonderful hotel with amazing welcoming and helpful staff and wonderful food. It is such a stunning part of the world and Sabai absolutely showcases the splendors of the beach and jungle. Everything we needed we got, including a trip to the National Aviary which was magnificent. Everyone at Sabai was fantastic, helpful, bright and warm, and the property was just beautiful. The food was especially excellent.

“Paradise found”
- paradise just within natural beauty; we liked the mix of a modern and new set up in a natural scene - hotel is pretty new and - honestly - the pictures says it all, but seeing it live is just 10 times better - hotel is located on a private (!) beach, which is SO nice. It gives you 100% Caribbean feeling. Beach is clean and water is nice to swim in - room is big, nice and very clean - very good variety of food (could have more vegetarian options), nice quality - stuff is extremely friendly and helpful - overall: a really nice and romantic set up (even to propose, wedding venue, or else) for couples or a bunch of friends / family; if you need some time off to relax and enjoy yourself: definitely THE place to be - I couldn‘t think of a better place to stay after a few weeks of traveling around. It was perfect! Thanks SABAI!

“A wonderful private place.”
It was very private, very peaceful. The room was lovely and I appreciated the great toiletries. the food was great, the different ceviche choices were excellent. the staff were friendly and easygoing.

“Peaceful but a bit too remote and basic”
It is an hotel quite remote and we didn’t realise that. You can only arrive by taxi plus boat. Room was clean and people friendly but all very very basic! View of the sea is amazing and it is a very peaceful place if you want to detox. Food excellent but menu very limited and service sometime very slow if busy (and for busy I’m taking about 4 tables to serve)

“It is not value for money. I am sure there are other resorts with better services and price.”
The food was great. The staff are friendly. The beach is nice and quiet. The location is very remote and secluded. Extra payment had to be made to access the property, we had to take a coach and a ferry to reach the resort. The snorkelling tour was amazing.

The most beautiful white sand sunset beach front hotel resort. So peaceful and relaxing. Not at all crowded. The food was excellent and drinks were mostly great.

“Magical resort in stunning paradise”
It is just such a beautiful place, natural and tranquil. The staff are fantastic, very nice and attentive, they made our stay very special. We would like to thank David, Chris, Raul and Luz and all the other staff - they were like friends. The beach and water is outstanding, the best we have ever tried. We will come back soon again. It was very hard to leave this magical place

“Me and my family had a brilliant stay at Play Baru Beach Resort - highly recommend!”
The room was big and spacious with plenty of room for storage. The room was also cleaned each day immaculately. The staff were super friendly and attentive and there was a great selection of food in the restaurant. The location is beautiful, with a lovely beach, swings, hammocks and kayaks too keep busy. I also loved the local dog Shakira who visited me and my family each day…
