It feels like in paradise, great food, amazing beach amd pool area - perfect place to enjoy and relax

Perfect spot, pool and beach. The staff was just smiling and caring. Huge thumbs up for Marcelo who took perfect care of us. The housecleaning everyday was spotless.

Poor food choice and average waiting time to be served is 50 mins No beach only ocean

“Disappointed! Step it up !”

The location is quite nice. The three staff who served us(Christian - dining,Edwin - bar and the Chef Andreas) do them credit. The food was fresh and great. However, they really need to step it up. We asked many times about the shuttle service and where to meet for specific meeting point. We got the message but still waited there for 55 mins waiting for someone to come and ask. Then we didn’t leave the jetty for about another hour. Considering we are paying for a holiday then it counts when we are sitting there waiting to move. We did email and send messages plus spoke to the manager on site. Not a care in the world. It’s like so what ?! It’s an international hotel so saying that English and messages not understood is just laziness and who cares attitude. No point responding to reviews now when you couldn’t be bothered from the beginning.

“Wonderful”

Our time at Encanto was truly magical. It is a wonderful hotel the staff, food, ambiance and facilities were very luxurious. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Every staff member went above and beyond though Chris with his thoughtfulness, perfect English, wealth of information and warmth especially made our trip. Even cheeky Coco the resident macaw made us feel welcome in both English and Spanish shouting hello and hola at regular intervals while entertaining us trying to obtain food or break into the kitchen like a little bandit. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

“Overpriced, noisy resort with beautiful coastline”

The sun loungers and beds by the sea and the pool BEFORE the loud music began in the morning. The location is stunning. Breakfast was nice with fresh fruit and do it yourself waffles. Boat trip there and back was the best thing.

The boat trip to and from the hotel were well organised. The cabins are nice and clean. However, we had a downstairs level and heard the upstairs neighbours really well when they walked the stairs/in their cabin. It’s nice that you can take kayaks/stand-up peddle boards.

We had an amazing time here for a romantic night away. The views are incredible, the pool was nice and the food was pretty good too.

Positives were room was nice, wildlife everywhere (Giant iguanas and colourful birds) and good food.

The facilities are great, the service is very good and the food was delicious.

Food was varying, fresh and at good quality. Employees were accomodating and nice.

Amazing Staff. They really make sure that you feel good and have a great time at the hotel. Big thank you to Eduardo which takes of everything and to Samuel and Christopher which served us at breakfast, lunch and dinner!

The property is located at the end of the Baru peninsular and the grounds are mainly well maintained and beautiful. The room was very comfortable indeed. The pool is salt water but very pleasant.
