Our hotel is located in a very quiet and secluded place. Please it is important to contact our reception to coordinate transportation. Has an additional charge not included in the price. Casa Cordoba Baru is a property with 3 houses each with 5 rooms, 4 of them have sea view. The internal and external areas of the house are shared with other guests, who will be like you enjoying the sun, the beach and the pool. Close to the area you will not find restaurants and supermarkets. We have restaurant and bar in the hotel with additional cost. The city of Cartagena can be reached in a 1- hour boat ride or in about 1.5 hours in car. Parking is available on site. RESERVATION POLICIES: - I authorize Casa Cordoba SAS to charge my credit card, the consumptions that would not have been charged at the time of check out. - The hotel is not responsible for loss of personal belongings, money or theft. Please use a safety deposit box. - It is not allowed to play music. - Check in is from 3 pm and check out at 12 noon. - Residents of Colombia will be charged VAT in addition to the total amount of their reservation. - All damages caused during the stay at the hotel will be assumed by the guest. - In order to guarantee the security of our hotel it is forbidden the entrance of any person who is not registered at check in, it is important to emphasize that the number of people stipulated in the reservation must not be more than the number of people previously booked. In addition, you and the person accompanying you are required to present the following documents at check in: ID card or passport and the credit card with which you initially paid for the accommodation. We stayed in a beautiful and small paradise. There were only a few extra guests and this made us a feel as if we were in our own island :) The staff was great, in particular Edwin who not only welcomed us at the hotel, but he looked after us during the whole stay. He was very kind and attentive, always on the top of everything with our requests. He was the receptionist, the manager, the bartender, he was everything. We have really appreciated whatever has done for us, from our funny arrival till the very end of our holiday. The food was delicious, a big selection to choose from and affordable prices.

We traveled as a family, and the beach was quiet, safe, clean, and beautiful. The sea is calm, so you can swim peacefully with your children, feeling safe at all times. The place is truly beautiful.

“Quiet and beautiful place”
The hotel is very quiet and beautiful. Trips around it and any activity needed to be done by boat, mostly. The costs were high and put us a bit since we traveled with some cash but did not expect such an expensive cost for transport

“Beautiful place”
Lovely quiet location, very picturesque. Very pleasant 2 night stay after a period of travelling. We read our books and relaxed on the beach. Comfortable, clean rooms with fab views. We swam one day, but water was too rough to swim or kayak on the other days. (We hadn't realised October was rainy season!) Food was lovely and the manager (Ebrim?) went out of his way to set up a beautiful romantic table setting for us. As others say, the journey takes 2 hours (including 15 minute boat ride), but is hassle free if you organise through the accommodation. Recommended for a relaxing break. Good value.

Island location was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excursion to do the boat cruisevwas great. Meals were lovely except there was no choice guy or breakfast and some of the evening nealscwere not available.

This hotel is completely isolated (no grocery shopping or restaurants available) and makes shameless use of their local monopoly. Drop close to four figures here for a couple of nights and they will not even give you two bottles of water for your long tip back to Cartagena. Not for money, let alone for free. Of course you have to pay horrendous prices for transport to and from the hotel too (you guessed it: to the hotel). The entire experience felt like a scam. Don’t go here. Oh: beach and water quality are mediocre at best.

Beautiful hotel in an extremely idyllic and relaxing location. Beach and pool were stunning. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea. Food was delicious.

“A beautiful prison!”
The best part of our stay was the moment we left by boat (since the road had become completely unusable). I felt a kind of freedom akin to what Papillon must have felt when escaping from Devil’s Island! The hotel looks beautiful and rooms are clean but the sea water is dark, don’t expect a blue water.

“Wonderful, peaceful Hotel to relax”
Wonderful, peaceful Hotel far from the busy part of Barú. The staff is really sweet and caring, attending to every need. Super comfortable room with a view of the sea. Beautiful beacharea (although the water is not turquoise and clear in this part of Barú). Kayaks, Yogamats, snorkeling-gear, beachgames available free of charge. The Hotels arranges trips to Rosario Islands, a Bird Aviary, Barú Pueblo and to see bioluminescent plancton. The Restaurant offers a big variety of seafood and other meals (everything was delicious but a little expensive by colombian standards). Breakfast was something different each day and always really good. Perfect place to relax. I absolutely loved everything about this place. Would definitely come back.
