Quit location with privacy. Terry is very friendly and showed us all the oportunities of barrydale. The room is equiped with nice furnitures and a fireplace. The terrace faces the garden. The stairway to the bedroom is quite steep but managebale

The warm welcome from Teri. The beautiful interior design. Inviting stoep with braai facility. Fantastic shower. Very comfortable bed! Teri gave us wonderful recommendations regarding restaurants and outdoor activities. Last but not least , the tasty cheese straws, homemade by Teri's partner!

We arrived prior to our book in time and Teri went out of her way to accommodate us. The hand made olives and cheese sticks were unexpected and delicious. The cottage is tastefully decorated and swimming pool is particularly excellent with beautiful views of the mountains. Definitely worth a return visit.

We’ve been on holiday in South Africa for several weeks and this has been my favourite stay. The cottage is beautiful - an artistic, tranquil open plan, light filled space. The living area is super comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (and the homemade snacks on arrival were thoughtful and welcoming touch!) Stairs lead to the upstairs bedroom which again is a light filled, comfortable space. The highlight of my afternoon was a dip in the pool before unwinding on the veranda - a peaceful spot to sit and enjoy the views and quiet surroundings. Just fabulous! In terms of location, the cottage is ideal, with shops and restaurants a short, safe 10 min walk away. If you’ve got the browsing time, don’t miss House of Books (located on Van Riebeeck Street). It’s a place where the books will find you if one is prepared to give it the time.

Great setting and very quiet and quaint.

Great location,peaceful,beautiful and lovely view. Hosts were wonderful,very helpful and thoughtful.

Super host. Comfortable accommodation in nice setting close to restaurants and shops. Great break away from the hustle and bustle. Never got to use the pool but looked great.
