Our stay was absolutely amazing. The place was even better than the pictures and exceeded our expectations. Our host was so welcoming, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. She really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed every moment. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

She clearly has put thought into every detail: The apartment is furnished with care and consideration, and the space is welcoming and comfortable. Birdsong's setting in the charming village of Barrydale makes it ideal for a country escape within relatively easy reach of Cape Town. We found the experience restorative and relaxing, yet there is lots to do and see in the vicinity, whether you're exploring on foot or cycling, or taking trips further out by car.

An excellent stay. Everything we needed was available. Very comfortable bed with superb linen. Excellent location for exploring the area.

“Beautifully laid out and decorated private apartment with own terrace and garden”

Outfall clean, spacious, and with everything you could need - thoughtfully set out with information about Barrydale and the surrounding area, a lovely terrace for morning tea/evening wine, a sunny garden with braii, and the actual birdsong and peace and quiet amidst the mountains was fantastic. The bed was so big and incredibly comfy, shower fab and also a wood burning fire for chilly nights. Can’t recommend it more for a peaceful stay.
