“Amazing stay, would recommend 10/10!”

Absolutely stunning location: wide views, big garden full of birds and butterflies. Wonderfull cabin with a good bed, outdoor kitchen and a deck to chill on and overlook the garden. Loved the outdoor shower. Claudia is very welcoming and helped us out with the communication/booking a private tour to see the wildlife on the eastern coast of Osa Peninsula. The breakfast was amazing. We had no issues travelling to the location, Claudia shared clear instructions - the roads are fine if you are driving a 4x4 (we visited in dry season). A trail goes from the cabin all the way down to the river, which you can easily spend a day (+) exploring.

“Highly recommended”

The location was absolutely exceptional, you feel like you're on your own in the middle of the forest, we were in the smaller hut a little away from the main building. It was built and decorated with a lot of attention to quality and detail. There are walking trails around the property which are a delight to explore, plus a sunrise spot with a fantastic view. The owners were very accommodating and helpful with all of our questions.

“Wonderful experience!”

Puri mas, like it's name, it really is the purest place. A great quiet place in the middle of the jungle, built and maintained beautifully, even the photos cannot describe the beauty. Ghislain & Claudine are the most wonderful hosts and Claudines meals are exceptional! there is also a trail they made inside the jungle leading to the river where you can swim, and if you want to book a tour to Cocovdo or anywhere else in the area they are very happy to help. We really had a great time.

“A slice of paradise on the Osa Peninsula”

This is the perfect place if you want to escape the crowds, see plentiful wildlife, enjoy great food and relax in an environmentally-friendly place. We stayed in Casa Bejuco, on the edge of primary rain forest and saw hummingbirds from our hammock; and koatis climbing trees from our patio. The Casa was very comfortable with hot showers and solar-powered electricity. Meals are served up at the main house which has wonderful views over the rain forest and bay. Breakfasts are like 5-course meals and dinners are prepared with fresh produce by Claudine who is an excellent chef. Ghislain and Claudine are great hosts, offering advice on things to do. We did an atmospheric night walk, seeing frogs, small snakes, insects, birds and opossums. We also walked around the extensive grounds by ourselves and had a refreshing dip in a pool in the river. We also did a great excursion to Corcovado National Park from Puerto Jimenez, just 20 minutes away. We strongly recommend this place. You need a 4WD vehicle as parts of the 3km off road to the resort are steep and bumpy.

Gislan and Cludine were fantastic - super helpful hosts, very knowledgeable about the area, and the world in general. They also recommend the best guide we had in Costa Rica - Roger - ask for him! The house was very well thought out and sealed from insects, the vies and wildlife is spectacular. All in all - great times!

“Sustainable luxury in stylish and tranquil surroundings”

We loved the beautiful design details at Puri Mas. Thoughtful touches abound throughout. Food was exceptional and plentiful with added extras much appreciated. The outdoor shower is divine (try it even if you think the cold water isn’t for you - you won’t regret it). The hosting was spot on and even though Casa Anak is close to the main residence we never felt intruded on or as if we were bothering our hosts. we would definitely recommend Casa Anak as the most beautiful of the houses. This is a place best appreciated by those who love nature and are willing to explore a bit, the trails are steep but well worth it. We bathed in the river and visited the ancient Ceiba tree.

Puri Mas is a paradise on earth for wildlife and for guests. Claudine and Ghislain are incredible lovely hosts and you will get the best and fresh food in Costa Rica. High standards of buildings and furniture and the kitchen is well equipped.

The bungalows are very well equipped and clean although it is in the forest. The food is just great and Claudine and her husband are great hosts!

One can feel that the owners and hosts in one build it with passion and decorated it with love for detail carefully integrating it into the amazing nature settings. The property is teeming with wildlife. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Our hosts were attentive and friendly. The food and drink was exceptional, and there was plenty of it. We would encourage everyone to read the Vision section on the Puri Mas website. The owners are conservations and have acquired 22 hectares of lowland Pacific rainforest in the name of posterity.

The property is exactly what's advertised, and it has extremely good value for the money you're paying. Everything else in the area is much more expensive. The hosts were nice, accommodating, and caring, they've provided us with amazing tips and even gave us rainboots so we could go on a hike. They've met us with a welcome drink upon arrival and were always available if we needed them. There are plenty of hiking trails around the property. You'll see many species of animals.

Amazing place, super friendly and passionate people that know how to spoil you and can help you arrange trips and recommend activities. Perfect house with outdoor kitchen and seating area, outdoor shower with birds flying around and hot shower indoors should you want it. We absolutely loved it!
