Pousada Vida Nova is an exceptional place, very clean and comfortable. The owners and other personnel are kind and helpful, they helped us with many advice regarding trips, transfers, taxi. The breakfast is rich and with a wonderful view over the river. There is always someone at check in, 24h/24h. Coffee is also always available. The location is close to city center if you walk parallel to the river, however note there are no real restaurants around, it seemed more like a local neighbourhood. What was really helpful for us is the fact they have a peer so the boat for Atins could drop us directly on the pousada peer. Overall a great stay for the money, I would come back again !

This is a great pousada, the staff are all very attentive and friendly, the rooms are nice and the pousada is beautifully located by the river, with a nice sunset view from the veranda. The breakfasts were great too!

The staff were so so helpful! I arrived at 1:30am without a booking and they sorted me out without a problem. Also when I checked out, they happily stored my luggage for 3 days when I was on a tour. The breakfast and the view was also incredible!

Good location, great people, everyone was very friendly and helpful with tips and contacts to organise my stay and visits in the Lencois Park.

Nice, friendly staff even though they didn't speak any English. Lovely shared terrace overlooking the river with nice breakfast. A little far from town but not too bad. Private boat can pick you up at the hotel itself if you're traveling downriver.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were here for 3 nights to see the famous Lencois Marahenses. The staff and owner were very helpful and various times offered help with transport, tours, etc. - anything you would need. The breakfast terrace and view and just amazing. Rooms and all property is very clean

Perfect, fresh breakfast, clean room and the most amazing staff you could wish for. They negotiated the best prices with local tour providers and simply helped in any case. When our transport for a 6h trip cancelled, they took us with their family car. Never experienced such a warm and friendly service :)

Good location, an amazing place and the staff are really friendly.

The staff was very attentive. Although they do not speak English, they communicated in English with me over WhatsApp and had tours (which I enjoyed a lot) arranged for me on the next day, before I had even arrived. The room is clean and cosy. With a lot of things added that others complained about: multi-plug, big mirror, places to put and hang your clothes. The breakfast was amazing, especially on the absolute gorgeous terrace, felt like paradise.

We enjoyed our stay at La Barranca, the staff is really welcoming and helpful, we booked everything last minute and they helped us a through their Travel agency partner but also to find public transport options, we really appreciated that. Good internet, good breakfast, the room with the balcony was the best!
