Overview
Hotel Pousada Do Buriti offers accommodation with balcony, an outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is located in downtown Barreirinhas, 200 metres from the River Preguiças. The air-conditioned rooms are simply furnished with a TV and a minibar. Guests can enjoy their hammocks, set on the balcony. A buffet breakfast is served in the eating area each morning. Buriti´s bar prepares a variety of drinks and refreshments during the day. The pousada includes a special hammock lounge to relax. Children are able to be entertained at the playground set in the garden.

“Great location and stay”
Location was perfect for pickups to go to the lagoons. Not many people speak english but the main person at the front desk speaks english and of course you can use google translate. I was there one night as a solo traveller and I felt welcome and safe. The travel agency on site took care of my shuttle to and from the airport and it all went smoothly.

“Pretty, cosy hotel”
Lovely, cosy hotel in a great location in Barreirinhas - just two blocks from the river and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room were cosy and spacious and hammocks were great to relax in.

“Wonderful Pousada”

Very central location - just a 5 minutes walk to the river front. Grocery stores and the market just around the corner. We liked the swimming pool to cool down between our tours. The dinner restaurant seemed to be above the local average. At least one of the staff members spoke good English and helped us to organise our transfer to Sao Luis.

“Wonderful 🤩”
The rooms are big, clean and confortable. The breakfast is really good and includes a huge variety of local food. There is a pool open until 23hrs (different from others hotels, that closes at 20hrs) and also the food in the restaurante at the Pool is good and not expensive. The staff is supportive and the trip couldn’t be better. 100% recommended!
