“A lovely weekend in Barranquilla”
The pool was empty in the morning, when it was hot but not boiling, with enough shade. The staff were great, bringing us hot water for the baby bottles every time we needed it. They were also very friendly and nice. The location, right in front of the Buenavista shopping centre provided great food, supermarkets and a shade from the boiling sun. Although removed from the riverside stroll, the hotel had all the amenities necessary.

Big rooms, nice view, nice TV. The hotel has an excellent restaurant at the roof and nice swimming pools. Well located, in one of the best and newest neighborhoods of the city.

“Impeccable, fun and in a good location”
The toom was spacious, the staff really professional (Luisa at reception was great and so was the jacuzzi ad spa attendant). The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices: Colombian typical fare, healthy options and the traditional hotel food. We enjoyed the pool.

“No more stay at Carlton hotels!”
Firstly, I would prefer if you called me Harald rather by my surname.e Grell! The hotel: the young man at the reception with a Covid mask, was not only slow but also most unfriendly. Although I requested rooms (2) on an upper floor a d adjoining, one room was on the third floor with a view on a large garage roof, the other one on the 13th floor. The safe in our room was a joke: a tin box, small and not attached. It could easily have fitted in a carrier bag. All in a NOT a good hotel.
