Lovely place and good place for exploring. Staff were extremely helpful and kitchen/social space was perfect. Safe place to leave bags for the day!

The garden was a beautiful spot to journal, meet other travellers, mediate, nap in a hammock or bird watching. The beds were comfy and they also gave you a towel to use during your stay!! Internet drops out sometimes but this is normal for the area.

Exceptionally! Everything is awesome. There's so many places to chill out on the place. They said there's no hot water. There was always hot water. Comfy beds, everything beautiful. You get a full introduction of what you can do by the staff and you are handed a map.

“Amazing hostel!”

Amaaazing hostel, lovely staff and it has everything you need! The view is incredible, especially for sunrise and the pool is very nice for the hot days. The free coffee and the cats are a very nice bonus :)

Good location. City map provided with some local info and recommendations. Communal kitchen, lots of spaces to relax, can be with people or on your own if desired. Comfy beds, good blankets, maybe a few bugs at night if you don't wear pants

Hostel was in a good location and the staff were really friendly. The hammocks were a great find after a long hike. You get what you pay for and the private room was spacious.

The location is perfect, the staff were very kind, and the facilities were all you need. Very affordable comfortable accommodation, I would definitely stay here again when in Barichara!

It was so good to hang around the terrace with a lovely view on Barrichara's roofs and meet fellow travelers. The guy at the reception is kind and helpful.

I booked a private room and it was spacious, with it's own shower and balcony. Great value for the price

This was my 3rd extension at this hostel before moving to another for a change. The second hostel was very nice, but Tinto was by far, my favourite because of its large open areas, gardens, pool and terraces overlooking the city. The private room, with a double bed and bathroom, was large, comfortable and great value for the price. Javier is the nicest owner.

“Garden Oasis in the middle of town.”

This is exactly my kind of hostel. Quiet and a little rustic feeling with outdoor kitchens and lots of gorgeous wood and outdoor spaces. Stone terraces, gardens, and a pool. I stayed in both a private room and the dorm room when I extended. I'm not a fan of cold showers but they seem to be the norm in budget hostels in Colombia. This was an oasis in the middle of Barichara.
