Amazing place to disconnect from the husstle, the nearby village has great shops for all you need. You can cook yourself food in the kitchen and have quiet time outside on the terrace.

I am really impressed how Paula was running the Hostel. Already prior to Our stay she was answering all Our questions as fast as No one else Had ever done it. She was caring so much about her guest you really felt welcome. It was really an enjoyable stay, everything was great. The kitchen was Well equiped, room was Clean and spacious. We Had hot water, which was really great. Even breakfast was offered. The Location is a Bit away from Barichara but with Busses and tuktuks running it was Not a Problem. We enjoy the Nature and calmness around Our place. And with Paula organizing Out Transport everything worked Out perfectly.

“A perfect stay along the Camino Real”
Our room was large and spacious with a huge balcony. The price was unbelievably low! The family who hosted our stay at the Posada, was wonderful. Everything was perfect. We are hikers and it is located along the Camino Real which is an amazing pathway weaving itself along the mountains. Be sure to visit the village of Guane and of course Barrichara along the route of the Camino. We both felt that this was the best stay of our trip to Colombia

“100% recommended for an authentic Colombian stay at an extremely good price”
Everything! We were also the only guests staying there. It was tranquil, outside of the main tourist area but good for walking, had everything we needed eg a kitchen, hammock, hot water etc. We were also able to check out late in the afternoon and use the facilities until we departed.

Very good location (in the middle between Barichara and Guane) in a nice garden, which is perfect in hot days. Very helpful and friendly Paula and her mother. You will be satisfied!

“Pretty perfection”
This is BY far the most pretty, clean and welcoming place we arrived at in our South America trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The crossing of the camino to Guane (5km) and Barichara (1,4km) is around the corner. The rooms are crispy clean, Wow. Location is outside of Barichara but that makes it even better. What a place! The breakfast is scrumptious! A 10 is too low, it should be an 11!

“Our favourite stay in Colombia!”
Paula and her family are so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Helping us find a trekking guide, and gave us recommendations for the local area. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, and hot showers. The communal areas are also great; kitchen, lounge area, and a balcony with a beautiful view to have breakfast. Villa Paula was a bit further out of town than we realised, and we didn’t have our own transport, but Paula helped us arrange a tuk-tuk whenever we needed it. On the plus side, this meant it was so peaceful, and the views of the surrounding area were stunning. The villa is located right by the Camino Real trail, which is a beautiful trek through the Colombian countryside. Or the town of Barichara is a 30 minute walk in the other direction, with amazing mountain views, passing right by Salto de Mico.
