“Great to stay in the heart of town in a beautiful typical old house with very attentive staff”
The location and setting are great. The hotel is very small with a lovely inner patio, a terrace with views over the town rooftops. It’s a traditional old house and furnished accordingly. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and helpful; they arranged for our transport from Bucaramanga airport and served us breakfast (delicious) after hours on our first morning there as we had arrived very late the previous evening.

“Perfect place to soak up the old-world charm and peace of Barichara.”
Charming hotel, beautiful rooms and courtyard area for delicious breakfast. Also a wonderful little mirador terrace for relaxing, reading, yoga…. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location.

“A very charming Posada in a very charming town!”
I was delighted with this place. Very charming, and you could not ask for a better location. It is located across from the church and the church bell tower. Only a very short walk to the town plaza and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful - even providing walking sticks which you just might need as the town itself is situated on many up and down hills. But those hills will afford you a very beautiful view of this extremely charming town. Be sure to visit the Posada's roof top viewing deck for a sunset view with the church bells ringing!

“amazing service”
the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the location was great. the establishment is old but we’ll maintained and clean everywhere but under the bed. the proximity to the church is seamless: the bells did not interrupt our sleep.

The place is much better than shown in the pictures. Also, it has some shared spaces and ambient music which make out stay really comfortable.
