A really beautiful place located out of the main town so it was really quiet and peaceful with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The room was really spacious and nicely decorated with cute little touches. Great shower and comfortable bed. Standard Colombian breakfast. The owner was really friendly. We had such a nice stay here that we extended for an extra night.

A really cosy hotel with cute room sin traditional style with amazing view and location. Really calm peaceful place to stay outside the center of the town (though still walkable). We stayed here two times already and really enjoyed it.

This is undeniably a beautiful location, close enough to allow for thorough exploration of Barichara by foot but secluded enough to feel detached and peaceful. Most impressively, when I asked the front desk for help booking a taxi for onward travel, the staff volunteered of their own accord to call three agencies for quotes, to ensure I secured the best price, ultimately saving me several hundred pesos - no other hotel on my trip to Colombia offered to do this, and it definitely set this place apart. The room was large, clean and had an amazing balcony overlooking the valley. The shower was very big, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was simple but almost surprisingly delicious - I normally do not like eggs for breakfast but the omelette here was good and I (unusually) asked for it again for breakfast the next day.

The owner was extremely helpful, the breakfast was good, the room super-nice (gave us an upgrade). The location is quiet and has good views, although not very central. Everything was very clean.

I arrived to Barichara very car sick from a long bus ride. The hotel host, Sophia, was so kind and caring. She even brought me camomile tea to help me feel better. Thank you, Sophia. In fact all the hotel staff was so kind, friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor with on open window to an amazing view of the countryside. The temperature of the room was perfect for sleeping and we never encountered any bugs what so ever. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a wonderful hot shower. Breakfasts were good and varied. The small pool refreshing. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel was a little ways from the center of town up a small hill. We did the walk to and from the center of town without any problems daily, but if you didn’t want to walk, lots of tuk tuks available for only $5000 pesos.

A beautifully decorated hotel with amazing views. The room was spacious and the bed was huge. Breakfast was really nice, eggs arepa fresh juice hot drink and fruit (however when travelling for longer it’s exactly the same as most hotels, so some variation like yoghurt with granola would have been really nice). the hotel is situated on top of a hill, you have to walk 5 minutes in the dark at night to go into the town, but it is very safe!

Everything was great! The hostel is a couple of blocks from the village so it's quiet yet close to the restaurants. The view is beautiful and the lady who welcomed us was so nice. the breakfast is very tasty. The beds are confortable, the rooms clean and there is hot shower

Rooms are stylish and the bed was super comfortable. Great views over the valley. The town center is an easy 5 - 10 minute walk. The staff will go the extra mile for you. We left really early at 6AM and they set the alarm in order to give us a coffee and breakfast on the go!! great value for money, would definitely recommend la Loma.
