“Good value”

There was coffee and tea offered to guests at all times. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge is sufficiently cold. The staff allowed guests to hand wash a few items and there was a good place set up for hanging clothes. It's really good value, considering Barichara's popularity as a tourist destination.

Cute little family run hostel, everyone was so helpful and friendly and they made a great breakfast too! They also have Tv with nextflix and other tv apps too!

“Trip Monkey Delivers Again”

Stayed in the Trip Hostel in San Gil, and like that one, was very happy with my stay. Small hostel compared to the one in San Gil. Some services like breakfast are the same, but this one lacks a pool and bar. The kitchen, however, is open to guests unlike in San Gil. The room was much bigger and offered storage space for my clothes etc. Very clean. Wifi was fast and generally reliable. It would drop for a few seconds on occasion, but very likely a problem with the service provider being in a small and rather remote town, rather than the hostel. Run by a very nice and helpful family on behalf of the owner.

This hostel is situation in the heart of Barichara, walking distance to everything in the quaint, beautiful town. The room exceeded our expectations as did the staff. Really enjoyed staying with the trip monkey hostel chain and would highly recommend.

“To many cockroaches and terrible broken bed”

NOTHING...except the service from Claudia who helped us with a refund when we realized how bad the place was. We booked after staying at their very nice place in Giron which we recommend. This place in Barichara is a dump. We requested and were given a refund after seeing many very large cockroaches in our room. Hard to believe the owner would allow such conditions.

We have been one night in Barichara, to explore this sweet little place. The family running the hostel is very kind and helpful. The room was clean and cozy, there is a shared kitchen with everything you need and within 5 minutes walking you are at the parque principal.

I had a lovely stay in Trip Monkey. Claudia the owner and her super cute daughter welcomed us and made us feel like home with a super warmful mood. The hostel is clean and practical, you get everything you need. Central location. I recommand

“A confortable stay”

We have been well advised on what tondo in Barichara. The atmosphere of the place was very welcoming ans nice. The room was clean and confortable!

Claudia and her family are so warm and welcoming. My room was so comfortable and having TV with Netflix was a bonus! The kitchen has everything you need. There is a really nice atmosphere in the Hostel too.
