Excellent stay, hosts were super welcoming and the room is pleasant with great views. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The owner even let me have a quick refresh in my room after a doing the Camino Real.

I loved everything. Mariella and her family were very welcoming, the house was beautiful and Barichara is one of the loveliest towns I have ever been to. It was a real oasis!

“Warm welcome in the heart of Barichara”

Great location, kind and understanding hosts. A truck drivers’ strike had been announced for the second night we were supposed to stay at the place, and since we had a flight coming up for which we had to be back in Bucaramanga, we decided to leave Barichara a day early. They understood our situation and did not charge us for the second night. Also, we have learned that warm showers are not a norm in Colombia, so it was nice to be to take one there! :)

Everything was perfect. Amazing attention to detail as it is a family business I love their breakfast and how friendly and knowledgeable were about this beautiful little town.

A charming colonial casa two blocks from the central square. Everyone went out of their way to be lovely and helpful throughout my stay, and they were flexible with the breakfast serving one after a return from a dawn walk on the Camino Real and another early enough that I could catch a bus before 7AM.

Really nice, small Hotel owned by a lovely family. The room had all the necessary, the bed was comfortable and overall had a nice vibe. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. Would definitely recommend the place.

The location was fantastic very central and a quick walk to the main plaza. the property is run by family who were fantastic. They were more than happy to have a chat and give suggestions on things to do and see. I highly recommend this Casa Aparicio Lopez

“Extraordinary people, lovely accommodation”

The architecture style and the Christmas decorations of the house were marvelous. The beds were so comfy and the whole place was spotless. But the absolute best were the people there. So extremely kind and nice and smiley. The breakfast was made by the host and it was delicious. We were really delighted with literally everything.
