“Quiet haven”
Everything was lovely!!! The location was only a few minutes to the centre of town. The staff were all friendly, kind and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious. Wifi great. Would love to return one day. Thank you all.

“Beautiful and beautiful”
Beautiful, peaceful little oasis within the gorgeous town of Barichara. Our room was private and spacious with a good view of the mountains from the balcony. The pool was refreshing, the hammock relaxing and the breakfast delicious (with lots to choose from!). Nice bathroom supplies ie shampoo etc too.

“Just great!”
Lovely, small, peaceful hotel. Ideally situated for visiting the beautiful town of Barichara. Great breakfast of fresh fruit, coffee, fruit juice and a cooked to order selection. I had reserved the junior suite but we actually had the suite which also has the mini pool in the bathroom, so it was an unexpected bonus.

Centrally located boutique hotel with all the comfort you need. Tasty breakfast and relaxing swimming pool. Beautiful garden surrounding the rooms. Very attentive personnel :)

“Lovely choice in a great location - don't miss Barichara!”
Pretty hotel in a quiet location about 5 minutes' walk from Parque Principal. Welcoming staff, good communication before my stay. Lovely area for relaxing around the swimming pool. Excellent breakfast. Barichara is charming and not to be missed. Likewise Milana Café for some of the best coffee in Colombia, set in a stylish courtyard. Finally, the walk to Guane is great and not difficult, takes about 2 hours.

“BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY, 100% recommended!”
Extremely beautiful hotel and gardens, nice pool, good choice of breakfast from the hotel menu . Our room was AMAZING, a suite with a 4 poster kingsize bed and outdoor bathroom with our own private plunge pool! I would recommend Achiottee 100%!

“A rustic hotel near the center of Barichara.”
Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Staff was friendly and polite. Few of them spoke any English and our Spanish is rudimentary (but thanks to Google Translate, communication worked fine but was slow). The grounds are well kept and the property was quiet. There was a pool but we didn't use it. It looked well maintained. The cleaners were efficient and unobtrusive. The room had an excellent shower.

“Comfortably rustic and close to the center of town.”
Breakfasts were good but not exceptional. We loved the balcony outside of our room (Rm #2). It was very relaxing. The Junior Suite was rustic but comfortable and the cleaning staff did a great job. We would have liked to open more windows in the evening, but most were not screened, and there were little biting insects around (black flies?). We found the staff very helpful and friendly. There was a profusion of plants and they improved privacy. Room #2 was a vast improvement over Room #3, where we spent the previous 2 days.
