Overview
Set on a hill on Sardinia’s east coast, the 4-star Hotel Galanias features an outdoor pool and a sun terrace. It offers air-conditioned rooms, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. WiFi is free in shared areas. Set in 3 buildings, these Sardinian-style rooms come with a minibar, flat-screen TV, and locally handmade furnishings. Each includes a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries, while some have sea views. An extensive international breakfast buffet is prepared daily including scrambled eggs, bacon, and pastries, A bar is available for drinks and snacks. Regional and Mediterranean specialities are served at the traditional restaurant with pool-side veranda. Staff at Galanias Hotel can organise boat tours as well as pilates, photography and yoga classes on site. Guests are provided with a free beach towel on arrival. The property offers free private parking and is 4 km from the centre of Bari Sardo. Arbatax harbour is a 20-minute drive away, where ferries link with Olbia, Cagliari, Civitavecchia and Genoa.

Great place for families! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The room is spacious and the breakfast was excellent. Many options, also for vegans. We travelled through Sardinia for 3 weeks and the Galanias Hotel was the best for our intents: close to a playground and shade at the nearby beach, pools with a shallow end that our baby enjoyed, close (by car) to beautiful Sardinian beaches and hikes.

Staying in this hotel was perfect. Nice location with view on the sea and on the mountains. Food in the restaurant was super tasty! Personal on the reception friendly and helpful. Hotel propose some daily excursions or trips. I was on boat mini cruise- was fantastic!

Staff is very friendly and professional. Excellent breakfast buffet, nicely seated around the pool with view. The premises is interesting from an architectural point of view. Decoration shows taste.

“Wonderful”
The food was excellent. A great choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner menu were very good too. The two swimming pools with 2 separate areas. There were a few entertainment options offered by the hotel but we didn't take part. The staff was nice and eager to help. The only downside was the commuting from the airport. On Sunday, there is no taxi pick up available so we have to go to the nearest town.

good location easy walk to the beach. very comfy beds, property is nicely laid out, beautiful gardens & lovely breakfast with lots of choice. we also had 1 evening meal in the hotel which was very good.
