Overview
Set in the town of Barghe, Hotel Al Poggio Verde is halfway between Lake Idro and Lake Garda. It offers a free fitness centre and a garden where meals are served on the terrace during summer. I loved my stay at Al Poggio Verde! It’s a lovely family-owned hotel where hospitality truly comes from the heart. The owner’s cooking was outstanding, and the whole staff was very friendly.

The owners are just great people who take care of everything. Nice place a bit aside of Lago di Garda. Very good dinner from local meat and vegetables, hand made pasta. Also breakfast - much more than you can eat.

“Welcoming family-run hotel”
Family run 13 room hotel in a quiet subdivision. Enzo is an award winning chef and his wife is a certified somelier so the food was excellent - hand made ravioli for dinner paired with great wines, fresh home-made croissants for breakfast. Many locals eating dinner at the restaurant. Rooms impeccably clean. Lovely quiet garden with benches, covered patio to sit and have drinks and aperitivo. Plenty of free outdoor parking on site.

“Amazing stay”
The property is located between two lakes which makes it very comfortable to stay if u have in mind visiting both. Also it’s easy to find. The place itself is very nice, taken care of, spacious, with a cute little garden. The room was perfectly clean as well as bathroom! Breakfast there is beyond all the compliments! Everything was fresh, delicious and prepared individually for us. Owners of the place are extremely kind and hospitable people, it was our pleasure to have little chats with them. Highly recommended for everyone! Grazie mille!! Alla prossima!

I think this is the best option if you would like to stay in that area. The staff are very friendly. This is a family owned hotel. The rooms are clean. The dinner is varied and tasty. I have been there more than 4 times in the last year and the quality is alwasy high.
