“Idyllic accommodation in a stunning location - the perfect base for exploring the Garfagnana.”
A beautiful renovation of an old farmstead into several self-catering units. Ours was the upstairs of the secondary building. The little grassy terrace outside the door was a wonderful place to sit, with stunning views across to the Alpe Apuane - the perfect place for breakfast or a dinner watching the sunset. The accommodation inside was very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen (we didn't use the cooking facilities beyond boiling the moka for coffee), though the mezzanine second bedroom has low beams and is probably best suited to children. Handy for Barga, though the winding, unlit road up to the town felt a little too unwelcoming to walk. Excellent communication with the owner, Giuseppe, who was welcoming and generously flexible with our arrival time.

Amazing place. Very comfortable accomodation, with wonderful view. The host was super friendly and caring. Definitely will come back here

“Fabulous, comfortable and all you will need for your stay.”
We would highly recommend the house. It was very clean and in a lovely location. Giuseppe was really helpful and friendly. You will need a car to get around, but from here you can explore Barga (only approx 1km away so you could walk, but is it on a road), and also Lucca which is beautiful. Wifi signal was excellent. We will come back again one day.
