5 stars! * we were nicely greated by Barbara and she put our luggage in our room while we parked the car * we loved the commune of Bardolino * hotel located 3 min walk from the old town * hostess gave us 3 choices of restaurants for dinner, they were all great * family-run business: Barbara is a great hostess, her father works in the kitchen, her sister and her mother do the housekeeping * great breakfast: eggs the way you like them, cold cuts, fresh fruits, freshly-baked croissants, excellent cappucinos * very comfortable bed * 3rd day we rented great e-bikes from a shop recommended by Barbara

The hotel was in a great location, a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Bardolino, lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Barbara the owner was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The supermarket and bus station were very close by and the hotel parking was easy. The roof terrace was a great addition to relax and sunbathe.

This is a lovely family run hotel in a great location in Bardolino. We had a sunny balcony, and we also enjoyed use of the sunny roof terrace/solarium. The hotel is clean, and the family are friendly and always helpful. We loved the breakfast.

Location is absolutely perfect a stones throw away from Bardolino centre. Really spacious rooms and exceptional staff it was also a very clean hotel I cannot believe it only has 3 stars it’s crazy. This hotel is one I can say I will definitely return too as I couldn’t fault anything with the property at all.

Things we really liked: A warm family welcome from the owners Organisation of a pick up to/from airport and trips out Top tips of where to go and what to see, always happy to answer a question, Affiliated hotel with the Lido Mirabelle for a discounted sunbed by the beach (8 euros a day) Rooms spotlessly clean and fresh Modern and comfortable decoration The breakfast was perfect. A lovely buffet selection including fruit, pastries, cheese and meats, cereals and toast. Eggs made to order (delicious!). I am gluten free and there was a good selection of gluten free products available for me (bread, biscuits and crackers)>

Absolutely exceptional stay! Orchidea Hotel is run by the same lovely family for over 50 years, and it truly felt like visiting close relatives. My dad and I were warmly welcomed, and they went above and beyond to cater to every request — even helping us extend our stay. The hotel may appear modest, but the heartfelt hospitality makes it unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely family run hotel in an amazing location in the centre of Bardolino which is a must see town. We had a big family room that sleeps 5 comfortably with lots of space. Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. We will be back for sure.

Good location for both the city of Bardolino and also to the lake Garda. Very friendly and service minded staff at this family owned hotel. Our family-4 enjoyed the stay at Orchidea which was reasonable priced.

Lovely family hotel with a great atmosphere and hospitality. Central location in Bardolino just few meters from the center and a 5 min. walk from Lake Garda where you can swim. The Hotel offers lovely home cooked Italian dinner. so honest and simple Italian food at very good prices. As a guest, do your self an honor to try it - you will not regret. different menus from day to day based on what’s in season.
