Staff were amazing Property simple but met all my needs. Superb location close to entrance to Bardia National Park. Staff at the lodge were very helpful, lodge comfortable and food good. The activities (the reason you go to a venue like this) were outstanding. Our guide saw to our every need, and we were able to see a magnificent range of birds and animals. They appreciated what we wanted to see and tried extra hard to allow us these opportunities.

“Fabulous little hotel , great value and so near the park.”

This small hotel is set about 10 mins walk from the main gate into Bardia National Park. The bungalows are set well back from the small road hence they are very quiet indeed. The bungalows are spaced out so you are not bothered by noise from anyone else. The bungalow was well constructed with a spacious bathroom and air conditioning if needed. The two single beds were very comfortable. The hotel has a small restaurant and bar set in the garden. There is a good choice on the menu and food arrives in good time . It is cooked exactly as you asked for. The staff were exceptionally friendly helpful and informative. They organised our pickup to and from the airport and organised two walking tours in the forest with their resident guide who was so helpful. They also cooked some great food to take into the park as a small picnic. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

We had booked to stay elsewhere but after one disastrous night there, we cancelled our booking and found Bardia Forest Resort had last minute availability for us. It was like a breath of fresh air. We had a lovely comfortable cottage, very clean and quiet. The resort is super close to Bardia National Park and the setting is wonderful. We are avid birders so managed to spot many species in the gardens there. We booked two walking safaris and 2 jeep safaris during our stay. Our guide Jal was fantastic and his expertise enabled us to see wild tigers, rhinos, a large herd of Indian elephants, Ganges River dolphin, Jackal, mongoose and countless birds. It was incredible!!! I had developed a terrible cough and Jal was so kind with making me basil tea and trying wild herbs to alleviate my symptoms. The kitchen created us the most fabulous dal bhat for lunch one day. The team were all very kind, welcoming and friendly.

lovely and clean cottages. a great garden to relax. and the staff is very attentive and friendly. especially Chal was offering a good bird watching tour. and he always showed us birds in their garden. we enjoyed our stay very much.
