I slept a sound sleep here. Silence and tranquility you feel here cannot be overlooked. Breakfst is decent.

Almost everything worked nicely, breakfast was quite compact but good, location on the top of the hill was special. Staff were really kind and the room was large and clean. For under 100€/2 person per night with a car parking hall it had a really good value.

Wonderful experience.

We were three adult women. We rented three rooms. The rooms with beautiful bathroom were all perfect. The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast was perfect. We will not forget the stay. Anne Norway.

There is no other hotel like this anywhere I know. Taking 4 cable cars elevators up. Waking up in a vaulted suite in the fortress on top of a mountain is an experience like no other.

This property is at the very top of fort Bard, an amazing historical fort and museum. After the visitors leave you have private access to the fort . I was pleasantly surprised by the modern facilities and tasteful decor of the hotel. It is a lot nicer than depicted in the pictures.There is a car park at the bottom of the fort that connect directly to the series of lifts and funiculars that transport you to the hotel . They welcomed my dog who was allowed on these lifts if he wore a muzzle ( they provided this ) no one else was on the lifts at the time we used them so it was not necessary.

Unique experience, very good value for money

This hotel is unique. It is situated in a corner of the Forte di Bard. You get to it from the car park in the village on three separate but short funiculars and then a lift. The views from the Fortress along the Aosta valley are stunning. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff helpful and pleasant. Our room was spacious and stylish. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are plenty of options, including dog friendly ones in the village of Bard which is a charming and interesting place. Staying here is a wonderful experience.
