Good location, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, great breakfast. Nice bar areas.

Location. It was in the centre and walking distance to every place of sightseeing

Overall, the stay was okay, but the rooms are extremely small and not very comfortable. The bathroom is tiny - when you take a shower, water ends up all over the floor. The location is also not the strongest point. Despite being close to Arc de Triomf and Ciutadella Park, the immediate area doesn’t feel very pleasant, with quite a mixed crowd around. That said, just a 5–10 minute walk away there are much nicer neighborhoods with plenty of great options, well-connected and close to everything. I would recommend staying closer to the Gothic Quarter or the Ciutadella/El Born area for a better overall experience.

“Excellent Location for Exploring Barcelona”

We had a great stay at Motel One Barcelona Ciutadella. The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood, just a short walk from the Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella. The location is excellent for exploring the city, as many of Barcelona's main attractions are within easy walking distance. The area felt safe, pleasant, and full of local charm. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and welcoming on arrival with fast check-in and easy to navigate around the hotel. Sizeable enough bedroom with smart bathroom and comfy beds. Quiet through the night and the air-con was decent. Bar/breakfast available was ok. Location was great!

The breakfast was good and very vegan-friendly. However, it could get quite crowded because the buffet was located in a narrow hallway, which made the experience feel a bit stressful at times. On the positive side, they even offer cappuccino with oat milk if you order it at the bar. If you like, you can also enjoy breakfast on the terrace. The rooftop terrace was another highlight. It has cozy sofas, great drinks, and the view is absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, definitely a huge plus.

10/10 – Excellent stay in Barcelona! We had a wonderful stay at Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella. The location is fantastic – everything is easily accessible by foot or public transport, and the neighborhood feels safe and lively. The breakfast was outstanding, especially the ham and the fresh tomatoes – absolutely delicious! The overall quality and atmosphere of the breakfast area were excellent. The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a perfect base for exploring Barcelona, and we would happily stay here again.

Well located hotel close to several Barcelona city sights, lovely rooms with good amenities.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, although we missed some hot food options. The location was quiet and peaceful. The room was small but clean, and we could not hear any noise during the night, which made the stay very comfortable.
