Astoria is just off Barcelona’s Diagonal Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Diagonal Metro Station and Paseo de Gracia Avenue. It features a rooftop pool with views, and a gym. The Astoria Hotel combines original Art Nouveau features with modern facilities. Air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV, a safe and minibar. “Another lovely stay in the Astoria”
I love this hotel. Great location in a "quieter" part of Barcelona. Close to restaurants, bars, shopping. Super helpful staff. Very traditional, but comfortable and well run. Breakfast and lunch very reasonably priced and good quality.

“Astoria Hotel”
Hotel was spotless, and staff were helpful. Very central lots of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Very quiet for most of our 4 day stay.

“I had totally different experience in Astoria in Portugal where the concierge was much nicer and the stay was much nicer”
I like the Art Novo decoration in the hotel, however it lacked some extra atmosphere created by quiet music in the lobby and the bar. The food at the bar wasn’t always available in the evening….so most of the time the nice space was empty..

“A lovely stay in a great location.”
Beautiful, modern clean rooms in a nice character building. Rooftop pool was cold but a fun break for the kids. Staff were nice and responsive. The location was excellent.

“A compact room in the perfect location.”
The location was perfect for seeing all the tourist attractions. The art gallery on the ground floor was an unexpected bonus. Close to all attractions, plenty of places to eat and shop.

The location was great, many bars and restaurants near by, the area is full of beautiful historical buildings, the metro is 10 min walking distance. The staff is very kind and they keep the luggages on the day you leave as long as needed. Nice furnitures and art exposition next ti the reception and dining area
