“Highly recommended hotel”

Highly recommended hotel: located on a quiet street in a trendy neighborhood, near the historic center, and a 200-meter walk from Barceloneta beach. The room is spacious (15m²), quiet, well soundproofed, with a balcony, a small desk, and a wardrobe. The bed is very comfortable. Large bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, there's a shared space with a coffee machine, kettle, and refrigerator. The service is friendly and helpful.

Location is brilliant, very clean, we stayed in a private room with private bathroom. We had a balcony and smart tv which was unexpected bonus. :) The water pressure in the shower was very good and nice hot water every time.

Everyone at reception was super friendly and helpful, the furniture might not be modern, but everything needed is there and it was very clean. The Hostal has a very good atmosphere - and of course, the location is perfect!

The days we arrived at the hotel, it was all covered because they had construction. So we didn’t have access to the balcony, it was very small and very loud. But the didn’t inform us about all this noise and inconvenience. We were 3 people but they had only 2 towels.

We had a great stay at this hotel for 9 nights. The location was very convenient, making it easy to get around the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a good choice for a longer stay.

Top spot! Close to Gothic quarter, conveniently close to train station. Lots of things of interest within walking distance. Old and charming building.

Things were fine

Our room was very clean and quite large for Europe standards. The location was perfect. Right across the street from Estació França. Close to Barceloneta Beach and Cathedral Espanã. The staff was always welcoming and nice. There was also ample access to fridge and microwave in the kitchen area that was always kept clean and organized. The lighting in the room was also great. Multiple choices by bed and all worked. We'd go back for sure.

The staff were very friendly and looked after us, they let us leave our bags behind the desk when we arrived prior to check in time, they also kindly allowed us to get changed and freshen up! When we were able to check in the room was very clean, the bed was very comfy and I found the rooms to be big and again very clean!! We had a shared bathroom which was very clean and tidy, the other residents were a little messy but the staff always cleaned it to perfection every morning and afternoon. The location of the hostel was perfect! Close to the train, metro, beach, shops, restaurants and attractions. We had access to a fridge, kettle, free tea and coffee - overall a very satisfied customer and I would definitely stay again :)

Really nice, atmosferic hotel in the old tenement house. Walking distance to the most of the objects which are worth of visiting. In the near area there are a lot of restaurants when you can eat breakfast/lunch/dinner. Also there are plenty of shops when you can buy souvenirs and drinks or food. Good connection to the other parts of Barcelona and of course close distance to Barceloneta. Room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Daily cleaning service. High ratings are really deserved.

I did not have a good tv reception at the begining and later on no tv, I did report it and the staff could not fix it.

“Friendly staff, clean, and great location.”

The gentleman when checking in was helpful and friendly. There were snacks, coffee, espresso, and waters to help yourself each morning afternoon and evening. Rooms are very clean and we had a private bathroom. You do have to make sure you request a private bathroom. How do you save in the room that you can take your key with you. Location was perfect. Found the best restaurant less than one minute away rooms were nice and quiet for being on such a busy street.

The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and major attractions like the Picasso Museum. The staff were very friendly, and the entire place, including our room, was spotless.

They provided a Large room, in brilliant location, lovley building inside lots of marble on your way up to the hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, midday checkout which is a bonus these days and brilliant value for money all things considered!

very friendly staff, very good location for spending a couple of days in Barcelona, following Gaudi and his masterpieces. Well equipped kitchenette. Simple checking process and an ability to leave your baggage at the reception after the checkout.
