A fabulous neighborhood. Not far to walk from major sights although metro stations were also close by.Hostal Girona had kept it's charm. Old stone entrance and metal lift to the second floor. Room was comfortable with en suite and small balcony. Room was cleaned and bed made every day. Breakfast was adequate.

“Just lovely”
The building is lovely. My room was wide with a huge size double bed. Shower in the room which works great being toilets in common but to have a shower for yourself. Clean common toilets and large common shower too if don’t want to use the one in the bedroom. Great breakfast, staff is friendly location is the best. Super well connected, quiet and lovely neighbourhood

Hostel Girona sits in a lovely historic building right in the heart of Barcelona — a location that’s hard to beat. Restaurants, cafés, and shops are everywhere, so you’re never far from good food or a lively street. Our room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a short stay and came with a charming little patio. Everything was impressively clean — both the room and bathroom were spotless. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a great location.
