We have just arrived home from a six week holiday in Europe. During that time we stayed in 8 apartments, that we booked through booking.com. Channing Apartment was the only one where the owners met us when we arrived. Considering we didn't arrive until 11pm, we thought this was quite amazing. It meant that access was immediate and simple. Jose Luis' two wonderful sisters, Carmen and Montserrat showed us how everything worked and even showed us where the nearest supermarket was by personally taking us there. Unmatched support in comparison to some of the other apartments which proved problematic to access. The apartment was very clean, tidy and comfortable with an eclectic mix of art and books. Despite the apartment being on the fifth floor we didn't have to use the stairs once during our 6 night stay as the elevator was very reliable and easy to use. There was nothing lacking. The metro and buses were reasonably close. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment and this wonderful city. We would not hesitate to choose this same apartment if we were ever in Barcelona again. Out thanks to Jose Luis, Carmen and Montserrat for such an enjoyable stay.

“Supreme comfortable apartment in a good location but away from the busy tourist area”

Clean & comfortable, very helpful host who provided everything you could possibly need and spoke good English.. The apartment is spacious and having a washing machine was a real bonus. There were a variety of good restaurants nearby and a small supermarket very close. It was an easy walk to catch the hop on hop off bus opposite Casa Battlo. Although the apartment was on the 5th floor, there was a small lift.

The host was fantastic. Went above and beyond to accommodate me with my early arrival. Out of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was by far the cleanest! Location was fine as it is super easy to walk to any destination!

The apartment was beautiful inside, and the facilities were superb. The Location was very close to some lovely restaurants. Catalan Square was around 15 minutes walk away. The owner met us at the apartment and couldn't do enough to help us.

Great apartment, very clean and very well-equipped, quiet, no disturbances from traffic or neighbours. Efficient a/c during very hot days in June. Fast and accurate communication from very helpful host. Very nice area with lots of restaurants and supermercado just outside the door. We enjoyed our stay very much and really recommend this apartment.
