​I recently stayed at the Catalonia Magdalenes hotel and I highly recommend it. ​The most significant advantage of the hotel is its location; it is right in the city center, allowing for easy and quick access to all the main attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. ​Beyond the location, the staff deserves special mention. They were extremely kind, welcoming, and made a sincere effort to assist with every request, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Excellent stay at Catalonia Magdalenes. The hotel is exceptionally clean, everything is spotless and very well maintained. The staff is amazing—always warm, friendly, and ready to help with anything. Special thanks to Alba, Dani, and Alfredo for their professionalism and positive attitude, they really made the experience even better. The location is perfect, very close to many of Barcelona’s main tourist attractions, which makes exploring the city very easy. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Barcelona. Highly recommended!

“Amazing hotel near the Cathedral in Barcelona!”

Absolutely amazing staff. Alfredo even helped us to our car to move it to the lot that was discounted, then walked us back to the hotel! When we arrived in the room there was a handwritten card welcoming us to Barcelona and inviting us to enjoy the beautiful city. Wonderful facilities and very clean rooms. The downstairs pool/steam room area was awesome, and the gym looked wonderful as well. And the rooftop bar and pool! I wish it had been heated - in summer it would be fantastic. Really above and beyond. 5 stars.

“Very enjoyable stay and excellent staff”

The staff were excellent. I left my coat at a nearby restaurant after check out to return home and a member of staff collected it at the end of her shift and transferred it to the hotel until I could arrange a courier collection.

This hotel is in a fabulous location in the old city. Perfect for exploring the city. Our room was quiet and comfortable and staff were super helpful. Generous breakfast with lots of gluten free options for me.
