Overview
This B&B in the painters village of Barbizon is located 12 kms from Fontainebleau's Castle and 21 km from Vaux-le-Vicomte's Castle. The property offers a garden and free private parking and bicycles are available. Offering views of the garden and the Angelus plain, the rooms have a private bathroom with shower, separate toilet and hairdryer. A kettle and Nespresso machine to relax in. A continental breakfast is served daily, and guests can also relax with a bar. For golfers: very close from Fontainebleau and Cély. A room dedicated to relaxation where you can book massages with our professional partners. The proximity of the Forest of Fontainebleau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will allow you to choose many hiking or mountain biking circuits.

“Lovely garden, lovely host, lovely memorable stay.”
The hostess/co-owner, Claire, was so personable and helpful--a true bright spirit, well-named. Her friendliness, lovely room, breakfast (homemade yogurt!) was fantastic. If we ever go back to Barbizon, we will be sure to stay there. Otherwise, we will be recommending Bastide to friends.

Lovely property full of charm and good vibes. The house is beautiful and they take care of everyone like you are at home. The garden is wonderful and we slept so well on the quiet plot. While it is a short walk from the main parts of Barbizon, it is not that far and nice to do after the good meals in the village. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and a wonderful host. The property is very well located: 15 minutes walking distance to the main street of Barbizon and extremely peaceful with a large, beautiful garden. The room we had was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotless clean.
