The Menjangan by LifestyleRetreats is located in Singaraja within the tropical West Bali National Park. Overlooking Sentigi Beach, it offers luxurious rooms with free Wi-Fi. Peaceful and so quiet. We stayed in a beach front huge room where we could watch sunrise from bed and the deer strolling past. Only a minute's walk on the boardwalk to the waterfront restaurant and a further minute to the private jetty to catch a private boat to go snorkeling. Surrounded by national park it is a perfect location for true relaxation. No motorbike or traffic noise, no sounds from staff or other guests, no cockerels crowing just pure blissful surroundings. Friendly and attentive staff.

“Perfect idyllic escape”
Incredible location in the middle of the national park. Staff are exceptionally friendly, the room service taught me how to say a few words in Indonesian when I asked, and also at the recreational centre the staff was really helpful. Loved seeing monkeys and deer walking on the beach and having dinners and breakfast with the most incredible view. We did a bike tour from the villas to the Bali tower and while the ride is very rough, we saw loads of monkeys and then had a great drink enjoying the sunset. We did a diving trip and the centre that the hotel recommended (Abyss ocean world) was great and we were even picked up right from the hotel jetty. On my last morning I had a Balinese massage which was incredible as well (I can recommend Sutrini the masseuse)!

Totally enjoyed the beach villa. The staff was superb and very friendly. Food was also very good and plenty.

“Unique 'safary' style experience with wildlife and wonderful accomodation.”
It was a unique experience staying in the national forest and the facilities were perfect for the nature of our stay. We enjoyed all our meals on the sea and the staff were very attentive and weloming. Massages over the mangroves were peaceful and a real treat.

“Really good”
The setting and design of menjangan is wonderful, set in the forest and on the sea overlooking Java. The pool is great and free shuttles between the tower restaurant or beach restaurant is good. Both are different, the tower has a great seating area on the two top floors. The beach restaurant is small and very ambient tucked in the mangroves over the sea. We had a great time despite the rain, and the staff were above and beyond helpful. I would go back but in the dry season.

This place is amazing. Its in a beautiful secluded location and very relaxed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the extra bonus of being upgraded to the beach huts which were stunning. The coral and fish diversity on Menjangan is some of the best I've seen
