Amazing beach, snorkeling options, deers and monkeys on the beach...crystal clear waters arround, reef sharks, thousands of fishes..

Beautiful location in National Park lovely beach with deer all around, breakfast was good, but the resort does not take advantage of this, it is tired and unkempt. Staff explained the national park prevents some work being done but the grounds are not attractive.

“Gem in the nature”

What a gem! The rooms were excellent, great food and massages on the property. And of course all the nature around. I’ve never before had my breakfast in the beach watching deer running around in the beach with monkeys.

Service and food were great. Loved the peace and quiet. Awesome they have free snorkeling gear etc. Staff very well trained and were great at anticipating guests needs. (Unusual in Bali generally). My thanks especially to "Manda" in the restaurant.

“Very laid-back”

The Lanai Cottages are very comfortable. All staff are very warm and welcoming - especially Lia from the front office. The staff meet you at both jetties so there is zero confusion.The location is stunning - right in the middle of nature... from beautiful fish filled water to monkies and deer. A couple of days was perfect. Annie at the resort's spa gives an amazing Balinese massage - probably the best I've had in Bali. Free canoes and snorkling equiptment was an added bonus. The resort equipts visitors with room insect spray but bring your own repellent if sensitive. Plus bring your own snacks - no shops only a restaurant on the island.

“Unique and secluded experience in the middle of a national park”

What a unique experience! Staying within a national park meant being amongst the animals - wild deer, black monkeys - just outside your room and around the resort grounds. We had a lovely room with deck overlooking the water, but also surrounded by trees and jungle. It was so comfortable and luxurious, yet down to earth as well. The staff were amazing and so accommodating for our honeymoon. I can't imagine it's easy running a resort that is dependent on bringing in all the supplies they need by boat - but it's places like this that allow us to be closer to nature while preserving and conserving the area. We also organised a BBQ dinner on the beach and a morning hike with Putu (highly recommend) as this allowed us to really appreciate the unique flora and fauna of the region. I wasn't expecting much from the food, given there's only one restaurant, but the options were very diverse and we loved every meal we had including the generous breakfasts! Because there are only 16 rooms in total, and only about half were occupied when we were there, it felt like a very private and secluded experience which we loved.

“A very special place with a healing, peaceful ambience within a wildlife reserve”

A very special place. The room is comfortable, the staff kind, and it is very spoiling to have a turn down service and amenities of a five star hotel while staying in the jungle surrounded by wildlife. I could watch the deer on the beach with their little fawns, and the naughty monkeys all day. Most of all, the staff are very proud to work here - they know how unique it is, and everyone works well knowing that we are the guests in this sanctuary, not the animals!

It’s a hidden gem! Quiet, beautiful! The reef is top! The best place to snorkel in Bali! Take the trip to the marine park! Staff is friendly and helpful! Loved it! We will come back!

“Amazing peace and limitless beauty”

Amazing location. If you want peace and an awesome view, this is the place. The reef is amazing , so much sea life. They have snorkeling and kayaking gear, which is great. The boat transfer is well managed. Their staff was great. The food was nice too, though it lacked variety. They provided us with a really good packed breakfast on the day of our checkout. The spa service was great too.

herten en blackmonkeys at your door and.the beach the.divingcenter staff and the resort.staff is just more then great cleaning the villa 2 times a day you feel.like your in a 5 star luxury resort.in dubai.but the nature of real bali the only resort in that national park and you feel that when there i almost nobody around.. the house reef snorkeling is private the diving also nobody around and white tipsharks eels and turtles you will.encounter im your dive this the old and pure bali i thought it didn't exist.anymore untill i visit this place

This place is a paradise. Having to take a boat to get to the facility adds to the magic. There are no vehicles and you are in the middle of the park, with deer and monkeys as your neighbours. There is good snorkeling right off the pier, although there are small jellyfish from time to time.

“Real gem in Bali”

We loved everything about this place, it’s absolutely unique and precious. We spotted lots of animals and loved snorkeling in front of the resort and at Menjangan (you can book the trip at the hotel). We also loved the walk in the park thanking to our knowledgeable guide and appreciated a lot that the staff welcomed us at the harbour and helped us with the suitcases (we advise you to travel light though). The staff was lovely and the breakfast very good (loved the many options!), we also loved the complimentary massage and the spa treatments. It’s a perfect place for a romantic getaway, can’t recommend it enough because of all the animals and care the staff has for them. We suggest to stay 3 to 4 nights since the journey is quite long and you want to immerse yourself in the quiet vibe of the place
