I had a great time. The friendly staff were very accomodating and the facilities were cleanly. They provided assistance where ever they could, from booking adventures around the area to making suggestions for good food, and were just overall lovely, friendly and happy people. Our stay was simply fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the reception team welcomed us with such warmth that we immediately felt at home. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring — it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being welcomed into a family (with the lovely cat). There was a special calmness in the way everyone interacted with us. Every conversation felt so gentle and peaceful that it almost felt like being in a yoga session. That atmosphere of kindness and serenity made the whole experience unforgettable. Everything about the stay was wonderful: the hospitality, the smiles, the attention to detail, and the feeling that the staff truly cared about our comfort and happiness. We would come back without hesitation.

The operators are a husband and wife team and they are so helpfull in every regard. Very clean and tidy at a very cheap affordable rate. The facility is a bit basic but very comfortable clean and they have a wealth of local knowledge. 100% great people.

“Excellent secret Homestay - well worth the visit!!”

The owners are absolutely amazing. We booked for three nights and wanted to do a ton of activities and had all these plans. Unfortunately, one of our group got very sick. The hotel staff and owners took care of us like we were family. They helped us get medical attention and medicine, they made sure we were all well fed and hydrated. They actually cared. Such beautiful people! And because we spent more than two days in the rooms, nonstop, we can also say that it was really comfortable! The beds and pillows were top notch. The room had plenty of space for suitcases and other travel bits. We had a bathroom that was roofed, it was perfect. The food there was perfect, cooked with love and very individual. We asked for special meals for the sick person in our group, and they even went out to get the ingredients to make it. Unheard of and perfect. We hope to go back and experience more of this amazing Homestay. PS Manis (the grey cat) was a lovely companion at many meals. Such a gentle soul.

The host was very helpful. He organised tours I wanted to go on and even cleaned my car before I left because of the dusty road near the accommodation.

I would give more stars if I could 😊 The owners are so friendly and helpful! They gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us with everything. The breakfast was really good and the room was comfy. This is the perfect place to stay for a snorkeling trip at Menjangan island, which I also really recommend. It was the most beautiful snorkling spot ever and we booked the trip with Maha Nusa.
