“Perfect”

I find it the best place to stay in the area 😊 The staff are very friendly, the villa is comfortable and the large shared pool is a great bonus. The owners also run a cafe that serves really tasty meals, it was very convenient and I didn’t need to worry about food quality. I would definitely return😊

On arrival and after being shown to our “Villa with a sea view, terrace, kitchen, washing machine, dish washer and seating area inside” we were shocked at being shown to a “room” with none of the mentioned. Luke who works there showed us to a couple of other options but it became clear that our Villa option was not only not available but in fact doesn’t exist. We settled for the next agreable option which was a tiny bungalow with none hot water, no kitchen facilities and no view. If this is what we had booked we would have been very happy. We cut our stay short unfortunately but this was no reflection in the staff at all who were very kind and efficient, as I pointed out it’s not their fault that the booking.com given options don’t even exist. The “manager” rightly altered the price we paid to reflect the room we occupied for our 4 nights although it was never about the price from our side.

Awesome location on the most beautiful beach we've seen in Java. The staff is exceptionally hospitable. The room was very clean, comfortable and right next to the pool (which was really clean and warm too). They have their own kitchen for breakfast/lunch/dinner whenever you want, the food was really delicious and was always prepared with a smile. The fridge with drinks/ice cream was a great bonus, and so was the laundry service. They also offer surf lessons and surfboard rental. Thanks for taking such good care of us! Definitely recommend this place.

Super close to the beach, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was okay (omelette was a bit too salty). But overall great place and likely one of the better accommodations in the area!

Great Bungalow in a small resorts. About 3min away from the beautiful beach. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was different every day (asian) and very tasty. Transport to Ketapang was organized for an additional fee.

The hotel is relatively quiet and beautiful. The boss and staff are friendly, including the arranged travel drivers, etc. are very friendly. From the experience point of view, it has exceeded expectations.

The staff was very kind and helpful, room was nice and clean and it is located near the beach. We booked 2 nights and at the place we decided to add 2 more nights. It’s the best choice at Red Island.

Red Island Villas is a beautiful place to stay and far exceeded our expectations. We were blown away with how tropical and tranquil it was. The location couldn’t be better, right near the ocean and across the road from a wonderful restaurant overlooking the beach. The manager greeted us in the driveway and made us feel like royalty the whole time we stayed. We were given the choice of two different villas when we arrived, both were great. The rooms were air conditioned, super clean, quiet and in a beautiful garden setting overlooking a gorgeous pool. Everything we requested was provided for including hiring a scooter, arranging a massage therapist to come to the room, even a razor, all with a smile. Mr Yon even climbed a palm tree and cut down fresh coconuts for us to drink. We have travelled a lot and this has been one of our all time favourite experiences ever. It is the best place to stay in the area by far and Pulau Merah should be number one on any bucket list of places to visit, it is just stunning. We were supposed to stay for only two nights but ended up staying for six because we couldn’t drag ourselves away!! We love it so much we want to move there. Thank you Mr Yon and staff, you’ve given us a memory that will last a lifetime.

We love it! Beautiful villa with very Friendly owner (Mr.Subur) and friendly staff (Mr.Yon) . They give very good recomendation how to explore Pulau Merah . We will back for Sure .
