“Great and cheap stay in Banyuwangi with a lovely host”

We had an absolutely amazing time at Ninap Hostel! We experienced so many wonderful things and had such a memorable stay in Banyuwangi thanks to our host, Roni, and his lovely wife. First of all, the room had everything we needed - AC, a shower, a comfortable bed, and most importantly, everything was super clean. There was also unlimited water refill available in the kitchen, which was very convenient. Roni also organized a trip for us to Ijen Lake, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience and our guide. Everything was very well organized, and our tour guide was the funniest guide we’ve ever had! After the tour, we had breakfast at Ninap Hostel, where we could choose from many options. We picked the homemade banana pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious. Last but not least, we also asked Roni to arrange transportation from Banyuwangi to the port, as well as a trip to the nearby Jagir Waterfall. On the way, he even took us to a local coffee shop where we got to taste local coffee and buy coffee beans. It was such a wonderful trip before leaving East Java. Thank you again for making our stay unforgettable 🙏

“Best Hostel in Banyuwangi”

very friendly host Roni and wife, with a clean and modern hostel, great place to stay if you want to hike mount ijen, in a quiet location by a stream it's a nice place to relax after the hike, the showers are also incredible with comfy beds and good a icon, and the breakfast was really delicious, the best pancakes I've ever eaten

Located in the city center however the surrounding area is quiet, with river flows right in front.

Looks brand new, good privacy in dorm rooms, clean bathrooms. Roni was really helpful and friendly and picked me up from the train station. Delicious banana pancakes for breakfast. Did ijen tour with them and guide waiyu was great. Would recommend 100%.

Everything was amazing in this hostel. The bed was so comfortable, the room was cool and quiet. I could even sleep during the afternoon after the night hike at Ijen volcano. The staff was so kind and they prepare on demand a consistant breakfast included in the price. I recommend 100%.

Warm Welcome, Pick up from station, drop off at ferry, very good food for breakfast, clean and cosy rooms, nice terrace, coffee, tee, water, whenever we wanted it, recommendations for restaurants, uncomplicated and affordable tour to Ijen, very nice family.

Wonderful stay in Ninap Hostel ! The cleanest hostel I have seen in Indonesia, and very comfy for the price. Rani was super caring during the whole stay and his wifi makes incredible banana pancakes on the morning (among other things). The location is great too, it is located in a nice residential area so very quiet.

perfect place to stay ! very clean, looks new, good WiFi even to work great common area with kitchen, desk, and outside patio really good breakfast included free water to fill, important when you go hiking ! long hot shower !!!

I loved this little hostel in Banyuwangi, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were amazing, the family who own the hostel live next door and are such kind helpful people. The free breakfast included is so delicious, way better than a lot of the free breakfasts other hostels include. This is the perfect spot to stay in Banyuwangi if you want to explore the surrounding area. I did the Ijen tour through the hostel and ended up doing it with a small group and a really great guide so would 100% recommend.

Very friendly staff very helpful. I stayed in the dorm room and both the dorm as well as the toilets were spotlessly clean. Infrastructure was very nice.

I can't recommend this place enough. Amazing hospitality, we felt like we were very welcomed. the owner plus house staff helped us with planning the rest of our trip. Excellent breakfast too!

As a clean freak, I felt completely comfortable when I stayed at Ninap Hostel. All facilities are in good shape, including complete kitchen utensils and a water dispenser. A big plus is that Kak Roni and Kak Endah are so hospitable and caring. Really had a wonderful time here.

Im really enjoy stay in ninap hostel, and have good experience stay, location strtegic near by bu terminal and train station. This hostel realky quite and staff totally help and we do open trip to ijen with them, everything clear explanation this hostel high recomend and, will comback again if visit banyuwangi in ninap hostel.
