The place is clean and lovely, walking distance to the nearest beach and the staffs were really helpful too. It was quiet when we arrived and Pak Hadi, the owner, upgraded our room! He also helped us sending my husband's wallet which we accidentally left all the way to Jakarta. We are so happy staying there and regretting only staying for one night. My son was also happy to stay there and walking to the beach, it was a memorable stay for all of us. The beach is clean and quiet. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

It was in such an amazing location, close walk to a beautiful beach. The area around the lodge complex was so peaceful and relaxation! A must stay in Java. Also the tour through the lodge was a life changing experience! Must do!

I had such a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The service was amazing — everyone was so friendly and treated me really well. I also joined the 2D1N sea turtle trip, which was such a unique and memorable experience. My guide, Ocha, was super knowledgeable and friendly, and my driver, Indraa, was so kind and helpful. Thank you so much for making my trip unforgettable — I’d love to come back again someday!

Everything was very clean, comfortable and luxurious. It was great to be able to refill our drink bottles. The staff were all lovely and very helpful in showing us where to swim safely at the beach, and arranging our tour to Green Bay and Sukamade Beach. All the tour activities were well organised and lots of fun with good guides. The transfer drivers both to and from the Java Turtle Lodge were fun and spoke very good English and we learned a lot from them. We also enjoyed the on-site meals. It's good to support this business that's providing a lot of local employment.

“Chill time”

Beautiful and peaceful garden setting, nice room, cosy verandah, lovely staff and owner, had a really chilled time, best to have one's own set of wheels to explore the area, pop over to Pulau Merah etc. Food in restaurant limited choice but tasty. Breakfast was sweet, more indo than continental but I love it.

Perfect stay and great two day tour to see the turtles, couldn't wish for more. Hadi is a great host!

Really cool lodge :) It's a quiet and green oasis a short walk from the beach. The owner can help you with organizing fun trips to green bay and the turtle beach. Food was really good. Bonus points for the cat named Snowy. It's a little off the beaten path, but the owner can can organize transportation.

Amazing property, such a nice place to spend time. The staff are wonderful. The food is great. Hadi is an amazing host, the turtle excursion he booked for us was the highlight of our trip to Java. We hope to visit again!

“Already thinking about going back!”

The owner was lovely, as was the rest of the staff. Extremely accommodating as we are vegan and they were able to organise meals for us. Arranging transport to the turtle lodge and to our next destination was also extremely easy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Breathtaking scenery and a beautiful place to stay.

Clean, decorated, the owner who speaks a good amount of english, and gives you information about the locals.

Staying at this accomodation was a highlight of my trip.  Hadi, the owner, and his family were so welcoming and helpful with the stay and figuring out the train for when I left. They made delicious food and we even got to try fresh lobster.  Ocha was our guide for the trip to Sukamade beach who, along with the park rangers, taught my group about the turtles at the conservation area and the jungle. She was knowledgable, supportive and outgoing. She was always checking in, making sure we were comfortable and answering questions. Indra and Dimas picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. As I was early for the train, Indra took me to his home to meet his family and enjoy fresh fruit and Indonesian treats. It was an excellent experience with empty beaches and wonderful people. I hope to have the chance to come back someday.
