The views from the room/balcony over the rice fields and jungle were beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant, despite having limited options, was very good.

One of the best stays in our 5 week trip! Very spacious rooms, the hotel area is very well maintained and beautiful! So many places to explore. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They offered us different recommendations, helped with the Ijen tour and other trips.

We were initially very satisfied with the hotel; however, we are now extremely disappointed to find that the level of service is not at all in line with the price we paid. Even if we are currently the only guests staying at the hotel, this does not justify such a lack of service. Given the high rate we paid, we believe it is reasonable to expect at least a basic standard of service. We are both disappointed and surprised by what we perceive as a clear lack of professionalism. This morning, we simply wished to have something to eat before our departure. It is now 11:45 AM, and no one has been able to provide us with anything. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standing. Yesterday, we made an effort by agreeing to have dinner at 6:00 PM to accommodate your schedule. Unfortunately, no similar effort seems to have been made in return today. We would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your swift response.

“An absolutely beautiful rural retreat”

Fantastic location in the foothills of Mount Ijen. This is a beautiful, quiet resort where you can be looked after and enjoy the stunning scenery. Our family stayed for four nights and we switched off completely. A lot of the food is grown in the resort garden and our meals were delicious. It’s a simple menu but very well prepared. Swimming in the pool under the palm trees with the view of volcanos was a real treat.

Amazing views from the bedrooms, each with a veranda looking out on the ravine and rice paddies. Host cooked up good spread of Indonesian food. Amazing and hidden away gem, a bit of a challenge getting there as the roads are bad, but worth the effort.

The view is fantastic, and also the surroundings very nice. The garden is well kept and the staff very friendly and helping, especially the young woman in charge. They really try their best. Breakfast is alright, and when we had to leave early on our last day, they prepared breakfast boxes.

Stayed 1 night. Came by car from bali with the ferry. The resort is beautiful: situated in the middle of rice fields and with an exceptional view on a small valley just below. The pool is also superb. Hosts were really kind and helpful. They welcomed me with a coconut and they gave me very precious indications for the Kawa Ijen hike. I can only recommend :D
