Breakfast was more than enough to start our days out, of traveling and adventure! Owners, and staff were very helpful with interesting places to visit, even to the point of contacting friends to include us in activities!

Great breakfast

The family couldn't have been nicer and the food was excellent.

Such a beautiful setting with lovely hosts who were happy to share their local knowledge with us. While it isn't the most modern place, all the facilities work perfectly making our stay very comfortable and peaceful. The perfect setting to escape and recharge .

Dromloc House is situated in a beautiful location near the shores of Bantry Bay. Enda was a very welcoming and friendly host and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a nice cooked breakfast and pot of coffee and refill provided. It is also very good value for money. The bedroom was spacious and quiet and the bed comfortable

“Welcoming hosts in a beautiful setting”

The location is amazing, looking acrosss to Whiddy Island in a very peaceful setting and yet only a short drive from Bantry.

Dymphna was a great host. I had a cut on my finger before going, and my partner told her about it. She personally made sure I got the necessary first aid. The Breakfast and the facilities were really nice. The location is just beside the lake. Definitely recommend!

Dromloc House is in a lovely location overlooking the bay (though see below). It is a simple 10 mins drive into Bantry for the restaurants and other shops. The owners were a lovely cheery mother and son (both could now be retired) who one feels have possibly been running this accomodation for decades. Unfortunately, the accommodation follows this trend and feels a bit like a B&B from the 70's and 80's. Everything is very dated including the furniture, wood pannel ceilings, tiles in the bathroom, sinks in the bedroom and the generally run down condition of the accomodation. Not actually dirty but very sorry for itself. Rooms are very small, bathrooms even smaller and the shower, which I struggled to fit into, was more in the nature of a delicate mister than an actual shower. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast which was included.

Lovely B&B with a beautiful view over the water. Our room was cosy and comfortable. The owners were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Grounds were pretty and we had a lovely view. Short drive into Bantry town.

High quality B&B. Wonderful location overlooking Bantry Bay - very relaxing. Freshly cooked breakfasts. We had a lovely view of the Bay from our bedroom. Visit to Mizen Head and dinner in Blairs's Cove were the highlights of our trips.

Lovely family farm house with amazing views over Whiddy Island. Highly recommended. Close to Bantry town, much more authentic experience than the hotels down the road.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Fantastic breakfast. Simple and comfortable rooms with lovely views. Highly recommended for those hiking, cycling or driving around the Sheep's Head Loop.
