The best included breakfast I ever had in South America. Motorbike travelers are very welcome here. Super nice staff, always ready with good tips. Room was spacious, bed super comfortable. Quiet, situated right by the river with a great view. The hammocks on the terrace are superb.

The customer service of the place was greag they all were very kind and tjey were very helpful. The breakfast was good and had some great options.

Our stay at this accommodation exceeded all our expectations. Johan and his family are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who organized everything perfectly for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and there is a wide variety of excursions available, all of which can be arranged for you. They also offer additional services like massages, which made our stay even more relaxing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Everything was always clean, and the hosts were consistently friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

The breakfast was great! Johan is an amazing host and speaks excellent English. We spent a few hours talking, which I really appreciated. He gives great tips on what to do and where to go in the area. I wish I had more days to stay. I would have loved to just chill at La Casa Verde and enjoy the view while swinging in the hammock and cuddle with dogs.

Excellent location, big rooms, fantastic view of the river and mountains, very good breakfast and super friendly and informative staff, it is the perfect place for relaxing...

Amazing place near the waterfalls, with a beautiful view of the river and a gorgeous garden. The rooms are very tasteful, and the staff are exceptionally helpful—Johan, in particular, is incredibly caring, speaks excellent English, and truly makes you feel welcomed and looked after. Very cute animals, especially three cute doggies, make you feel loved every time you return to the hotel. Breakfast is varied and excellent, combining a served breakfast with a buffet, and even little touches like real tablecloths (not paper napkins) make it feel special. Overall, it’s a five-star experience for a bargain price.

Johan is a great host: Very welcoming Great vibe Helpfull to book tours and no pressure to do it. For the ruta de las cascadas, we met a few touristes who were totaly lost / didnt know where to go. Johan had pinned for us on a Maps.me exactly where to go and where to stop. Speaks great english They provide drinking water Breakfast is delicious The rooms are big!!! The place is soooo quiet. The only thing you hear is the river. Johan also gives a lot of information on whats app. He is very responsive. Everything was great!

Johan was amazing. We tried booking our own taxis and activities but then just got him to help. So much easier. Great English. He sorted bikes for us to rent. Taxis when we needed. Tips for reteraunts crutches for my girlfriend who sprained her ankle. I can't really praise it any more. Oh actually I can. The breakfast was awesome. Eggs fresh fruit coffee. A very pleasant stay. John and his mom are the warmth of this house . Their hospitality is second to none. Breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed the muesli bar with fresh yogurt and fruit. When I declined the cooked egg I was given avocado and cheese. It was a delicious substitute. I loved being next to the river and a short distance from the town. The most beautiful waterfall Silencio is a lovely short walk away from the Casa. I was here at the Casa 9 years ago and it is more incredible and memorable than it was previously.

From the moment you arrived to the time when you left you felt super taken care off ! Johan is an incredible host , and together with his team , the 3 lovely dogs and 3 sweet cats they make you feel home ! Johan gave me very good advice on activities, restaurants , local gym etc etc. Breakfast was just amazing , with a variety of Jogurts and cereals every day, bread. Chesse, av avocado, tomato, delicious jam , eggs , empenadas and on some days even pancakes ! The place is right on the river, outside town so it is very quiet ( town is very hectic ). I rented a bike to go into town , but a taxi is just 1,5/2 $. My very spacious room was on the top floor , overlooking the river, so that the sound of the river put me to sleep. Service was outstanding, they always tried to make sure you got everything you needed. All over : thank you so much for everything Johan and team , I will definitely come back !

Yummy breakfast and lovely family running the place. They even upgraded our room for free as the bigger rooms weren't booked and there were 4 of us so we ended up with a bed each rather than having to share 2 queen beds.

“Incredible stay in Baños!”

We had a fantastic stay at La Casa Verde. Johan and his family are incredibly helpful and attentive. Communication before arriving was super easy and helpful, with Johan providing lots of useful information to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. He even kindly upgraded our room to give us better views of the stunning landscapes in Baños. We had a huge room with a private balcony overlooking the beautiful lush green mountains and the flowing river. He organised our canyoning activity which was super fun and stress-free, thanks to Johan organising transport and payment. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with lots of fresh fruit, oats, granola, eggs cooked to your liking, fresh bread, avocado, cheese and the crispiest, cheesiest empanadas! It is a little bit out of the main town but Johan always organises a taxi to take you into town for just $2. It's absolutely worth staying here despite the 10 min taxi ride into town to be in the most beautiful, peaceful surroundings. You also get a card which offers discounts at some delicious restaurants within the town. This was our favourite place that we stayed in Ecuador - thank you Johan!

I don't even know where to start! This place is amazing! Booked 2 nights after climbing Cotopaxi and Tungurahua and I think I could not have asked for a better place to relax! Cosy (yet spacious), really clean rooms! Insanely good breakfast (fresh emanadas, fruits, eggs, veggies, juice, croissants, jam, butter, granola, yoghurt and delicious coffee) - I think it was the best I've had here in Ecuador! A lot of information about Baños, what to do, where to go etc. All in all, highly recommended!!!
