Host allowed us to check in at 2am after a night bus and woke up to show us to our room so very thankful for this!! Lovely big room with comfortable bed, hot shower, small balcony. Decent sized kitchen to cook own meals.

INCREDIBLE. One of the best hostels we have ever stayed in. Victor and his son are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was very spacious, comfortable bed, hot shower and a balcony. They let us check out late and leave our bags the whole day (due to the night bus). We were given a map and information on the town as well as lots of advice on activities etc. The kitchen is large and well equipped and you can use that area until 10pm at night. We felt like part of the family during our stay and yet had a lot of privacy and comfort. Perfect location everything you need is within a 10 minute walk (bus station/banks/restaurant/supermarket). We extended our stay for 2 more nights. Highly recommended.

Staying at the house was a blast ! The staff is amazing ! They are very helpful from the moment you check in: offering you options of activities, a view of the area on the map etc. Saolo speaks perfect English, French and a bit of German. The room was great: clean and confortable. Kitchen and dining area available. Common spaces spotless and nicely decorated.

Great location, comfy room, hot showers and the staff are so kind and polite. Explained what the city had to offer in great detail. Always asked if I needed anything. They also provide laundry service which is a bonus. I would recommend this place whole heartedly!

The location is a bit off the town centre, so it's quieter. It's walkable from the bus terminal. The hostel is really a three storey house changed into a hostel. Inside there are wide comfortable stairs that lead to various rooms. As it was the off season (rainy), I had the dorm (4 beds) to myself with attached bathroom, large and spacious, very clean. The kitchen is well arranged and kept in good condition. The only thing not up to standard usage is the lack of sockets near beds (at least in the female dorm). Charging the phone is nowadays an essential necessity, especially at night. There is no one traveller without a phone, and having one in function is a modern dependency. There may be plenty of outlets in the sitting and kitchen areas, but having one next to the bed where a person is sleeping has become an important thing, there is a sense of security when one's phone is nearby, charging. That's the only reason for not giving a 10.

The hostel was in a great location, 10mins from the bus station and easily walkable into town. It was quiet, equipped kitchen, rooms were very clean and the shower was hot and from a boiler (still hot during blackouts). The hosting family were so welcoming, gave loads of information and were happy to help at all times. We booked a tour through the hostel that we changed last minute and we got a full refund as well as a better price than others had recieved.
