Overview
Located 5 minutes’ drive from Baños de Montemayor Spa, Albergue El Solitario boasts a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi is provided and free private parking is available on site. Featuring a rustic décor, all heated rooms come with a private bathroom with shower. There is also a common shared living room with a sofa, fireplace and TV. The restaurant inside the country house prepares traditional dishes and special menus are available on prior request. Set in the Ambroz Valley, the local area offers a great variety of outdoor activities whether in summer or winter. Albergue El Solitario also features a farm with animals and several sports such as climbing can be practised on site.

Free onsite parking. Very convenient for the A-66. Very nice apartment with lovely terrace and mountain view. Family run Albergue; everyone was very helpful and friendly. Superb restaurant with excellent local specialities.

A nice stop along the way on our bicycle tour. The apartment was large and clean if a little old. It was comfortable for a one night stay. We had a beer on the terrace and had dinner in the restaurant - very good. It was super quiet at night.

Gorgeous location, quiet place, great view, fantastic to relax and simple enjoy the nature. The staff was helpful and very kind, offered us an upgrade of the room to an apartment, what was a must in a special day like Valentines. Thanks to them for make all our moments much better.

“Noisey stopover.”
The hotel is in an attractive valley below the motorway so very easy to locate when tired. We had a small apartment for the price of a room which was helpful after a day's travel. The kitchen was very well equipted. The apartment was warm and the water for the shower very hot. The owners were welcoming and friendly.
