Everything was good, the hotel is quite big and everything was clean inside. The bed was massive and comfortable. You pay a small parking fee when checking out.

Bannewitz hotel is located in quaint Dresden suburbs, just 11 km from the city. It was perfect for a short stay to relax after all the fun we had at the city Christmas Fair. The place is fully renovated and was just beautifully decorated for Christmas which definitely helped us to get into the spirit. The lady at the reception was wonderfully helpfull and kind. It is obvious she's doing very hard work there, managing the reception and helping to serve breakfast, but was always very smiley! The hotel itself is located near food and garden markets which was very convenient! I can truly recommend!

The place is located in a different zone(Freital) which is out of the Dresden city travel zone takes a round 30 minute by bus from city centre. The bus to the hotel is from Dresden hauptbahnhof.. Frequency is one bus in an hour. Hotel Bannewitz is walkable from bus stop(very near)There is a penny next building and one doner shop nearby. The hotel got exceptional ambience,super clean and the kids will love the garden with duck, hen and rabbits. Nice play area and kids activity area. It's away from city centre and have a countryside feel. Highly recommended.
