When the owner Kiri showed me he was ready to personally bring the remainder of the jummy and varied breakfast to my room, I realized that this place is founded on extraordinary service. I have travelled a lot over the past decades. I rarely get surprised anymore. These 3 days were a delightful surprise. Top that off with the environmentally friendly approach to growing food and employing local people, and you get a place that wins people's hearts. This is a place where you can be yourself and feel part of the family. The name of my cottage sums up this place in 3 words. Home Sweet Home. I will be back.

“Fantastic lodge with great host and relaxed atmosphere”

Kiri is a truly fantastic host. He looked after us from arranging long distance transport to restaurant referrals to adopting his food ingredients to accommodate food sensitivities. He showed us his garden and freely shared his considerable knowledge. The swimming pool is nice and big. Kiri is a fantastic cook and clearly enjoys spoiling his guests with great food.

We were so well looked after by Mr Kiri and the staff here. He cooked an incredible breakfast for us and helped us with our onward travel to Vietnam. The pool was great after 3 days trekking in the jungle. Perfect place to stay for some rest and recuperation in Banlung.

“Nice big pool to chill out after a day trip”

Loved the big pool where we can really swim and we also enjoyed a late checkout. Kiri went out of his way to please us by offering fresh fruits near the pool, preparing good portions of local breakfast with real fruit juice. The food is really tasty, especially the "pbor" with lots of ingredients which is the best porridge I've ever eaten during my whole three-week stay in various cities and towns in Cambodia. He prepared sandwiches and water when we left whereas we didn't ask for anything. He helped us book also a tuk-tuk in order to see the waterfalls and the high-up 360 degrees vista with a Buddha statue. All in all, it was a great stay thanks to our host.

I really enjoyed the service. I felt I was a guest in a 5* Hotel. The offered hibiscus drink was super refreshing. All the time cold bottled water exactly needed after hot day and the food there is outstanding. its the first time since one year Asia i was over eaten as well from breakfast as for dinner. the pizza in the wooden oven something very special for Asia. By beginning at the check-in thing's didnt worked out well but. thing's sometimes goes wrong but that can happen, important is to make it out again and i truly felt they did. Thank you for the Taxi one more time. if you are in the region i think its the place with the overall best package.

The host Kiri was absolutely lovely and tended to any and all wishes we had including really good vegetarian breakfast and dinner. The lodge is pretty and very comfortable and the view from the terrace is stunning!

Just the perfect place to stay in this city and not be disappointed if you somehow find yourself there

The host was very welcoming. The food we had was delicious. The breakfast was excellent. The lodges are basic. You are in nature. The pool was lovely.

“Perfectly wonderful stay”

We loved everything about our stay at Molyka Lodge. The rustic, beautifully decorated lodge, the many seating areas in the wonderful garden, the huge pool and the local children enjoying themselves, the lush green surroundings, our beautiful room, the proximity to the lovely lake etc. But above all we would like to thank Kiri for making the days at the lodge so outstanding and memorable for us. His hospitality, his engaging nature, his cooking skills, his professionalism are outstanding! Kiri also organized bicycles and a tuktuk tour for us, spoiled us with incredibly delicious sandwiches and got us our connecting bus tickets in a very comfortable bus. I hope we'll see you again somewhere!

“Charming, comfortable, amazing service.”

The staff knew what we needed before we did. We were always greeted with cold water, the breakfast was amazing, filling and exactly what we needed. Anything we didn't eat was packed up to snack on for the day. We felt very well cared for and we were given great advice on what we could do in the area.

“Very relaxing and nice place”

Our host Kiri took very good care of us! He knew that western tourists have difficult to eat in the local restaurants and thats why he served very giant size tasty breakfast that kept us unhungry until our evening meal. We also loved the juice he made. When we left for Laos he gave us sandwiches to the road because he knew there is nothing to eat. He also spoke perfect English, arranged us s bike and told us everything we needed to know. The swimming pool was beautiful and big.

“Comfortable place to relax”

The room was well equipped with table chair, fridge, and large bathroom with a rain shower. I loved the big swimming pool, the deck outside our room with a table and chairs. Friendly and helpful host who is very generous with meals giving us large portions and free water.

The staff were friendly and the pool looked inviting (couldn’t use due to a storm). The food at the restaurant served some of the best food we have eaten in Cambodia.
