Overview
Samui Mermaid Resort is located in Baan Bang Rak (Big Buddha Bay) on the coast of north-east Koh Samui. Guests can choose to enjoy a stay at the seaside or the garden side. Featuring 3 swimming pools including an infinity edge pool, it also has free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour restaurant with outdoor seating. This tropical resort is a 10-minute journey from Samui Airport. Samui Mermaid Resort is a 15-minute drive from the Bophut fisherman village and nightlife at Chaweng. Lamai Beach is a 30-minute drive away. Featuring modern Thai décor, rooms are equipped with either a fan or air conditioning. All come with a cable TV, free bottled water and a private balcony. Attached bathrooms have hot-water showers. At the tour desk, guests can arrange to go elephant trekking, visit the crocodile farm or watch an exciting Muay Thai match. Water sports activities like diving and snorkelling can be enjoyed by the beach. Boasting beautiful sunset views, the beach-side Dolphin restaurant specialises in Thai and international dishes. Cocktails and a daily barbecue are offered at The Little Mermaid pool-side bar.

“Beautiful hotel that has been there since the 90s. Fresh and right on the beach. Near the ferries and the airport.”
Near the airport by cap, stayed one night. Also near the ferries to koh phangan + koh tao. Pleasant stay right on the beach.

Beautiful beachfront location with lovely views and a great swimming pool. The resort is also very conveniently located close to the airport, with really nice restaurants nearby. I truly enjoyed my stay and found it relaxing and comfortable. If I return to Samui, I would happily stay here again.

“If you have a bigger budget I would stay in the beach front rooms as it’s such nicer experience than the garden room we”
The pool on the beach was a lovely area. Large beds. No much else sadly. Near the pier to get to Koh Tao. 2 free bottles of water a day

“Amazing beach front hotel”
Amazing hotel right on the beach front. Our bed was super comfortable and air con was amazing. Staff were lovely also, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely book again! Also lots of restaurants and shops nearby, 7-Eleven only 2 min walk.

I don’t think I will be returning to this accommodation. We had a three night stay with just a fan and no ac. This made it impossible to sleep comfortably due to the heat, as well as planes flying over constantly. Furthermore, the fan also began to smell like smoke when we had it on setting three to try and combat the heat, meaning we had to leave it on setting one, and you are not allowed it on overnight.

“Left early cus I didint wana stay”
Wasnt clean bugs little flies everywhere Got the room that said pool but there was no pool just the same pool everyone uses felt like false advertising

“A lovely short stay.”
This was ideal location to meet family after our travel to Thailand. Fun watching the planes fly over and glad I had ear plugs!

Great spot, right on the beach. The facilities and service was great. Anything you need was at hand food, transport hire bikes or car, organised tours. Highly recommend the resortl, restaurant and my room was amazing.
