“🌿 A Real Slice of Bali – Warm, Peaceful, and Honest 🌿”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Originally booked for a couple of nights but I ended up staying much longer! The wooden bungalow is brand new, clean, and looks exactly like in the pictures. There's Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and a hot shower in a private bathroom. The space is peaceful and surrounded by nature, perfect if you’re looking to disconnect from the crowded tourist chaos. When you get there you will most likely meet Dego and his wife Yeni who live there and will take care of you. They will recommend a list of the many many activities: • Tree climbing and zipline • Waterfall trekking with Dego (it's a must) • Silver class where you make your own jewelry • Rafting • Coffee plantation (with amazing rice field views) All of these activities are led by locals and neighbours from the village, many are donation-based, and any paid ones you are guaranteed to get the best price. Best of all, you're always welcome to join in the many Balinese ceremonies and traditions happening in the village. Also, don’t miss the neighbor’s cooking class (hands down one of the best meals I had in Bali). Important to know: This is not a party hostel or a touristy area, so if you’re looking for loud nightlife, Western food, and crowds of foreigners, this isn’t for you. If you love quiet, nature, and a real glimpse of what Bali truly is, this place is a dream. Thanks you bli Made and all of the beautiful people I met at D'sari. You now feel like family. ❤️
