“Quiet Location with Great Staff and Amenities”

The property was situated in a quiet area, yet close to the beach and local markets. Although we didn’t use it, there was a pool available. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the air conditioning worked very well.

Staff was super friendly and very accomodating. Also very clean with daily cleaning. Location was a bit further off from the beach but ideal training at Bang Tao Gym (200m). People and garden were very quiet and spacious too. Very affordable too compared to other accommodations in the neighbourhood.

Good location, good peace and quiet. Room was nice, had everything it needed, good sized bathroom, bed and room in general. A/C worked well. Firm bed was comfy enough. Big sized fridge, small kitchen and dining area. Price was on the cheap side compared to other hotels in the area so no complaints at all, really good value for money I thought. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, allowed me to check in slightly early and let me keep my luggage in the hotel for the day until my flight at night. They told me I could order from their restaurant and have it brought to my room if I liked. Pool area is nice and there’s rarely anyone there so it’s nice to relax. About 10min walk from the start of the beach. Closest 7/11 is about 10 min walk. 45 min walk or 10 min drive to boat avenue. Perfect if you’re coming over to train Muay Thai like I was, 5 min walk from bang Tao gym, 10 min walk from bang tong gym, 20 min walk from sutai gym. Overall very happy with my stay and would come back

Safe, clean and quiet - a bit away from the central area but easy enough walk/get a scooter! Room cleaned daily with new towels and bedding a real bonus. Staff very friendly and discreet Nice pool area with no-one there!

My room was really nice, loved the direct access to the pool, comfy bed/good sleep, main pool area was nice when I got to use it. I didn't use the pool as the day before there was a pool party and wasn't risking it. Breakfast was ok/standard buffet. Food at the restaurant wasn't bad. Shuttle service staff were friendly and quick.

Lovely quiet little hotel. Pool is amazing. The two cleaning staff were fabulous. The made me coffee every morning while cleaning my room. Front desk staff were also friendly and kind.

Look, you get what you pay for, this place is not a resort, but for a little hotel in a back street, its a lovely little place. Pool is fantastic 👌 Room is clean and quiet, bed is comfortable. The food in the restaurant is great and way cheaper than in the main strip or beach. There is coffee and tea and the cleaners come every day to freshen the room and replace the water bottles. I would stay here again. If you train Muay Thai, it's about a 3min walk to Bang Tao gym.

Great hotel - Clean, spacious room with some outdoor seating on the balcony and another outdoor area to hang towels etc. Nice, well kept pool with four sunbeds, although plenty as it was so quiet. 10 mins walk from the beach.

“6 days in Journey”

Good hotel near from Bangtao Gym so that is good option if you wanna train there. It is just 10 minutes of walk from this gym. Room was cleaned up every day so also this is a big advantage. The swimming pool was also nice.

This hotel is very nice. I like family businesses because of their soulful approach. The Journey residence is the very same example. They like what they do and this is noticeable. Everything is very clean. The room was gently equipped with all necessary goods. The textile, towels were fresh and had such a pleasant, light fresh smell. The bed is comfortable, we were able to sleep well. You can ask any question on the reception and they do all their best to help you. Taxi service is available by the very good price. And a car was so clean and comfortable, the driver is very kind and polite. I used a laundry for a very good price. Laundry machines are very clean, that’s important for me. This place located not far from beach (only 5-10 minutes walk). Places with tasty food and drinks are near. Small shops with all necessary goods, fruits are not so far from hotel.

The hotel is run by very nice people. They were always helpful and friendly. Muay thai gyms, supermarkets and beach are within walking distance, but I would recommend renting a scooter to explore the island. I would love to come back

Apartment was good equiped and clean. Looked quiet new.

We really liked the area. Not too close to the centre but the Beach was basically around the corner. The personnel was really friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and all the utilities worked as they were supposed to. All in all we can only recommend staying at Journey Residence Phuket.
